Sr. Vice President Marketing
StingerStinger is seeking a Sr. Vice President of Marketing. This position is responsible for driving profitable, organic growth and creating lasting enterprise value. As the Sr. VP of Marketing, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing cutting-edge marketing strategies. This leader unifies brand, digital, and channel marketing under a cohesive marketing strategy. Most importantly this position is responsible for telling the story of Stinger! The right candidate will blend strategic vision with executional rigor—comfortable moving between brand storytelling, digital demand generation, and channel activation. Entrepreneurial and data-minded, with a sense of urgency, this leader thrives in fast-paced, high-expectation environments and brings the confidence to take smart, calculated risks that drive innovation, growth, and enterprise value.
This role requires a strong understanding of the automotive and 12-volt industry. Previous experience with automotive brands is preferred. Enthusiasts are encouraged to apply!
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive brand marketing strategies aligned with organizational goals.
- Consumer driven product marketing, able to turn technical features into consumer benefits that drive demand.
- Identify opportunities, guide investment priorities, and ensure marketing efforts align strategically and financially with enterprise-wide value creation
- Ability to draft business correspondence, reports, and presentations.
- Craft integrated go-to-market plans that balance brand building with performance execution across retail/consumer, installer/trade, DTC and OEM/commercial channels—driving retail sell-through, installer loyalty, and OEM partnership growth.
- Build data-driven programs that generate awareness, qualified leads, preference and conversion across all channels.
- Determine the demand for products and services offered by a firm and its competitors and identify potential customers.
- Drive measurable gains in ROAS, conversion rate, and AOV by optimizing paid media, refining site merchandising, and accelerating organic traffic through content, SEO, and community engagement.
- Establish clear KPIs, tracking ROI by campaign and channel, and implementing robust attribution models to understand which activities most effectively drive awareness, engagement, preference and conversion.
- Strong A/B testing experience
- Manage digital marketing channels including but not limited to: Facebook, Instagram, E-mail and search engine marketing
- Develop pricing strategies with the goal of maximizing the firm's profits or share of the market while ensuring the firm's customers are satisfied.
- Oversee the planning, allocation, and optimization of the marketing budget to ensure every dollar drives measurable business impact.
- Balance investment across brand, demand generation, digital, and channel programs—aligning spend with strategic priorities and growth objectives.
- Lead agencies and internal team members where appropriate to execute all communication activities and public relations (marketing materials, advertising, client communications, direct mail, marketing campaigns, press releases, content for trade publications, etc.).
- Use sales forecasting and strategic planning to ensure the sale and profitability of products, lines, or services, analyzing business developments and monitoring market trends.
- Manage industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure continuous evolution of Stinger’s approach to digital and brand marketing.
- Analyses the efficacy of existing product marketing campaigns and strategies for continuous improvement of future campaigns.
- Works with the Product Development team to understand the specifications of new products and translate those specifications into consumer relatable benefits.
- Leads the go-to-market strategies for new product launches by crafting the product story through extensive written press releases, story boards, and video scripts.
- Provides input into the video creative production process to guide story boards and video shoots.
- Composes, develops, evaluates, and conducts training on product marketing activities, strategies, and policies.
- Proactively trains all internal key stakeholders on the product story including the Sales, Marketing, and DTC teams
- Maintains knowledge of trends and developments in the market; identifies needs for new products and services and makes recommendations to leadership.
- Collaborates, participates in, and coordinates promotional activities, trade shows, and industry events.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

Required Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or relevant field
- 10+ years of relevant brand marketing experience, with a focus on performance marketing
- Experience marketing for consumer brands
- Experience working with Private Equity ownership
- Proven track record of growing e-commerce consumer brands
- 5+ years experience with automotive brands preferred
- Jeep or Truck enthusiasts preferred
Travel: 30% Travel to various Stinger locations and Marketing Events
