Raymond James Ltd. is seeking an Admin & Marketing Specialist to remotely work for our Mississauga Office. Raymond James Ltd. is one of Canada’s leading independent investment dealers, offering high-quality investment products and services to Canadians seeking customized solutions to their wealth management needs.

  • Responsibilities:
  • Support the founder in implementing brand and marketing initiatives, ensuring alignment with company objectives.
  • Assist in managing the company's online presence, including regular updates and posts on social media platforms.
  • Aid in creating engaging content suitable for various platforms under guidance and marketing policies.
  • Participate in the post-production process of video content, learning the intricacies of editing, graphics, and sound design.
  • Collaborate with the content team, ensuring smooth transitions from content ideation to final production.
  • Assist in tracking and analyzing key performance indicators (KPIs) for marketing and social media campaigns.
  • Manage the founder's schedule, including coordinating meetings and appointments, and making travel arrangements
  • Perform other administrative tasks as needed, such as drafting documents and presentations, conducting research, and managing projects

Qualifications and Skills

  • Ideally, 2 years of previous work experience. Entry-level or a recent graduate in marketing, communications, or a related field will also be considered.
  • Basic understanding or keen interest in content creation and social media.
  • Understanding video post-production tools and techniques and or willingness to learn
  • Organized, with an ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Familiarity or a desire to learn about digital analytics tools.
  • Enthusiastic, eager to learn, and adaptable in a dynamic environment.
  • Basic proficiency in standard office software and a general understanding of social media platforms.
  • Experience with Filmora, Premiere Pro, Final Cut, Canva
  • A team player with a positive attitude and a hunger for growth.

The role will also be in a hybrid work environment allowing for remote and in-person work.
