POSITION DESCRIPTION
Position Title: Ecommerce Specialist (entry level)
Reports To: Sr. Manager of Ecommerce
Classification: Exempt
Location: Onsite Cincinnati, Ohio
POSITION OVERVIEW
The Ecommerce Specialist will be responsible for optimizing our online store to drive traffic, increase conversions, and enhance the overall customer experience. This role involves SEO strategy, website performance optimization, and an understanding of consumer behavior to improve the digital shopping journey. The ideal candidate is analytical, creative, and proactive in implementing best practices to maximize e-commerce success.
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Develop and execute SEO strategies to improve organic rankings and increase site traffic.
- Analyze website performance, implement optimizations, and conduct testing to enhance user experience and conversion rates.
- Monitor and improve site speed, mobile usability, and overall website health.
- Optimize product pages, metadata, and internal linking for improved search visibility.
- Work with developers and designers to ensure website functionality aligns with business goals.
- Manage and refine the online customer journey, identifying friction points and opportunities for improvement.
- Track and report key performance metrics, including traffic, engagement, conversion rates, and revenue.
- Stay updated on e-commerce trends, SEO best practices, and emerging technologies.

- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
- 1 to 2 years of work experience or an equivalent internship
