Marketing Coordinator & Executive Assistant

We are looking for a proactive, talented and highly motivated Marketing Coordinator and Executive Assistant to support the company’s Investor Relations and Marketing function. The role will start off as part-time with the opportunity to grow into a full-time position (if desired). The work will mostly be remote with some opportunity for travel to conferences. Marketing Responsibilities
· Manage the company’s Social Media accounts (currently just X but looking to expand to LinkedIn and possibly Instagram) and prepare posts/captions (text, images, videos, graphics)
· Manage social media content calendar (scheduling and posting content to optimize engagement).
· Monitor, respond to, and engage with audience comments, messages, and interactions to build community and foster positive relationships.
· Maintain and improve the appearance and content of the company’s marketing materials including website, investor presentations and fact sheets as needed.
· Coordinate conference logistics and provide support at in-person events as needed.
· Support additional marketing tasks such as email newsletters, blog posts, website updates, or event promotions as needed.
· Support the creation of corporate videos and manage digital marketing campaigns
· Liaise with website developers and other media contractors as required.
· Database management and sort through general investor inquiries.
Executive Assistant Responsibilities
· Manage CEO’s calendar – eg. scheduling meetings, board sessions, and conference travel
· Coordinate domestic and international travel arrangements, including flights, hotels and prepare detailed itineraries for site visits, investor roadshows, and mining conferences.
· Handle confidential information with the highest level of discretion, including sensitive matters related to financings, mergers/acquisitions, exploration results, and corporate strategy.
· Anticipate the CEO's needs, proactively resolve issues, and provide administrative support to ensure focus on strategic priorities like fundraising and project advancement.
· Assist with expense reporting and administrative tasks such as filing regulatory documents or coordinating with TSX/TSXV listings, only as needed and with training provided.
Required Skills
· 1-3 years of experience in social media management, content creation, or digital marketing (internships or freelance work considered).
· Proven skills in creating high-quality content, including writing captions, basic graphic design (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite), and video editing (e.g., CapCut, Adobe Premiere, or similar).
· Strong understanding of major social media platforms and their unique audiences/algorithms.
· Experience with social media scheduling tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer, Later) and analytics platforms would be ideal.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a keen eye for detail.
· Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), calendar tools (e.g., Outlook, Google Calendar), and virtual meeting platforms (Zoom, Teams).
· Proven ability to handle confidential information with integrity and exercise sound judgment in a high-stakes environment.
· Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritize in a dynamic, deadline-driven setting.
· Flexibility to work outside standard hours when required, including availability for urgent matters or travel support.
Education
· A degree or diploma in marketing, finance or business-related field would be an asset but not necessary. Primary focus will be on work experience
