A Day in the Life
The PVH National Services Director is responsible for developing the overall strategic direction and execution of the Vascular Service transformation initiatives in the U.S. Commercial organization. This role provides strategic direction and operational (indirect) leadership to the PHV Vascular Service team
Responsible for designing and implementing the National Service Strategy in collaboration with Vascular Area Directors for the PVH Vascular field service organization to achieve OU sales AOP. This includes coordination of a number of activities that support the PVH field service team involving communication, national service goals and priorities, rewards & recognition, talent strategy development (employee attraction, development, retention), service education, business operations and technical/clinical support. The National Service Director will partner closely with the Vascular Area Directors to ensure execution of the National Service Strategy and initiatives within their area. The National Service Director will partner with the VP of Sales, other members of the Sales Leadership team (Sales Directors, Training Directors, and Operations teams), and PVH OU Functional organizations leaders to develop and execute programs that increase PVH market share through the delivery of superior service. The Director will coordinate activities to ensure field organization compliance with regulatory and compliance standards, and sponsor programs to manage business assets in the field.
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:
- Develop and execute Vascular Service Transformation initiatives and tools to achieve OU Sales AOP and build a high performing service organization.
- Collaborate with Vascular Sales Leadership and Area Service Managers (ASMs) to execute national service initiatives and strategies.
- Identify and develop tools, business plans, and dashboards to help Services organization deliver unsurpassed service, technical expertise, support the achievement revenue goals, inventory goals and SOGL initiatives.
- Provide ongoing feedback and coaching to ASMs. Partner with Area Directors and DM leaders to provide performance input. Assist managers with goal setting, performance reviews, and individual development planning to ensure consistency across the Vascular organization.
- Develop a PVH Vascular Service talent strategy, focusing on attracting, developing, engaging and retaining ASMs and CSs. Partner with ADs and ASMs to implement in assigned area.
- Partner with ADs and ASMs to drive hiring activities for Clinical Specialist roles and managerial positions.
- Coordinate hiring activities to maintain a strong, diverse talent pool for future roles.
- Collaborate with sales leadership team, cross functional teams, and additional key stakeholders to execute strategies to achieve service-related business objectives.
- Drive initiatives for service burden reduction and new service models.
- Partner with ADs and ASMs to align resources according to business priorities and service demands.
- Drive development of employee and people leadership programs with training teams.
- Partner with the education team to train field personnel.
- Develops and ensures adherence to sales and service programs, and evaluates marketing and sales/service metrics and data to inform strategies to achieve annual and long-term goals
- Lead the annual selection of Suscipio Society induction and ensure field compliance with quality and regulatory standards.
- Oversee analysis and reporting on sales and service data to assess strategy effectiveness.
Must Have – Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree
- Minimum of 10 years’ experience developing, implementing, and/or leading one or more of the following organizational structures: a national or global service operations field organization or a large sales organization with clinical specialist responsibilities. Plus, 7+ years of direct or indirect managerial and/or matrix leadership experience; or advanced degree with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience with 7+ years of managerial experience
Nice to Have – Desired/Preferred Qualifications
- MBA preferred
- Knowledge of Medtronic and/or other industry management service coverage requirements and compliance processes
- Knowledge of local Medtronic and/or PVH OU customer base
- Experience in sales, marketing, training, healthcare, technical services or related areas in the medical device industry
- Demonstrated business acumen and strong influence management skills
- Demonstrated leadership skills involving coaching, employee development, and change management
- Capable of critical/strategic thinking; ability to execute strategy
- Training and experience with Lean Sigma principles
- Knowledge in Microsoft Word, Power Point/Excel and Outlook software application

Salary ranges for U.S (excl. PR) locations (USD):175000
This position is eligible for an annual long-term incentive plan.
The base salary range is applicable across the United States, excluding Puerto Rico and specific locations in California. The offered rate complies with federal and local regulations and may vary based on factors such as experience, certification/education, market conditions, and location. Compensation and benefits information pertains solely to candidates hired within the United States (local market compensation and benefits will apply for others).
