Tourism Advertising Sales, Print/Digital, Oregon Travel Industry, Remote OR

MEDIAmerica is seeking a proactive, detail-oriented, enthusiastic print and digital Advertising Sales Representative to join our team! If you're an organized self-starter who is passionate about tourism, sales and creating meaningful partnerships, this role is for you.
In this position, you’ll manage a developed list of established clients spanning multiple print and digital products as well as prospect for NEW business. Day-to-day activities include phone and email outreach to existing clients and partners, dedicated use of CRM Software, contribute to existing client and project management processes and attend internal / external meetings when scheduled. This role includes strategic planning, project management and industry related storytelling. You'll be an integral part of a collaborative, supportive team that values a positive attitude, professional growth, and delivering top-tier customer service to our advertising partners.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
· Manage and develop existing client base while proactively building a pipeline of new advertising clients.
· Craft impactful sales rationale stories by using data and research
· Responsible for coordinating and executing elements of advertising investments for assigned clients.
· Field client questions throughout the sales cycle across all buying channels
· Deliver best-in-class customer service to MEDIAmerica advertiser and publishing partners
· Participate in the flow and coordination of presenting multiple publishing projects from sales launch through completion and reporting.
· Collaborate with team members to meet sales and development milestones and fulfill required tasks for each publishing project.
· Maintain accurate client and project information in CRM databases; generate weekly sales updates and performance reports.
· Contribute to weekly sales meetings and share project insights, updates, and wins.
· Continuously look for ways to optimize internal sales processes and improve client outcomes.
· Regularly communicate status of all projects by means of weekly meetings, revenue reports and updates to appropriate team members as needed.
· Adhere to internal best practice guidelines, processes, and operating cadences
· Uphold company values and positively contribute to company culture.
· Other duties as assigned.

EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS
· Minimum 2 years of experience in sales or business development
· Proven experience with CRM platforms and database management.
· Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with the ability to type by touch minimum of 60 WPM.
· Experience or interest in tourism, attractions, or hospitality industries is a plus.
· Must be task-driven, deadline-conscious, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

MEDIAmerica staff work remotely with the option of meetings or scheduling workdays in our field office as needed. We offer an open collaborative work style with an emphasis on work/life balance.
This is a full-time position with some statewide travel. 2-3 years of advertising or related sales experience is required. Experience in the travel/tourism field a plus. A Portland, Oregon location is required.
This position includes a base salary + commission, cell phone reimbursement, travel reimbursement, medical and dental benefits, life insurance, 401K matching, generous paid holidays and vacation, personal, sick-time and flexible hours.
Must have transportation for statewide travel
