Position**:Digital and Data Specialist**

  • Contract type: Fixed-Term One-Year Contract (with likely extension/renewal based on project needs and performance)

  • *Key Responsibilities**:
  • Participate in aligning data sources with business outputs and assist in identifying necessary modifications in source systems to ensure accurate data extraction.
  • Assist in cleansing, validating, and standardizing data to ensure accuracy and readiness for migration and integration
  • Assist with executing data migration tasks as directed.
  • Support the procurement and implementation process for a data mart.
  • Contribute to the development of reports and models that address business needs and support business development efforts.
  • Assist with scoping, impact assessments, and providing status updates for data projects, and escalate issues when necessary.
  • Participate in developing and maintaining of accurate and detailed documentation to preserve institutional knowledge and support long-term data integrity.
  • Assist in creating of user guides, training materials, and technical documentation to support end-users and facilitate knowledge transfer.
  • Support implementation of digital solutions, including software platforms and workflow automation tools, while ensuring they follow best practices for security, compliance, and scalability.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, vendors, and external partners to help gather requirements, troubleshoot issues, and support system integration and user adoption.
  • *Qualifications**:
  • *Education & Experience**
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience). New Graduates will be considered and are encouraged to apply.
  • Experience in IT analysis, data management, or a related role, preferably within the public sector or health-related programs.
  • Experience with IT change management methodologies and tools.
  • *Skills & Competencies**
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., SQL, Python, Excel) and data visualization platforms (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365, including SharePoint.
  • Familiarity with system integration, APIs, and workflow automation tools.
  • Strong understanding of data governance, data cleansing, and quality assurance processes.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
  • *Preferred Qualifications**
  • Understanding of and experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365.
  • Experience with cloud-based technologies and platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure).
  • Knowledge of IT systems and solutions for lab operations or healthcare settings.
