Your Role at impact.com
We are seeking an experienced Marketplace Networks Segment Manager within impact.com’s partnership marketplace, driving growth through strategic partnerships with affiliate networks. This role requires deep industry expertise, strategic thinking, team leadership, fraud monitoring, and business development acumen to shape how we work with networks, maintain platform integrity, and grow the gross-transaction volume through this channel.
As a Marketplace Networks Segment Manager, you will define and execute the strategic approach for how impact.com partners with and supports affiliate subnetworks on our platform. You’ll work with publisher development managers, compliance team members, and the product marketing team to establish frameworks and best practices for network relationships, oversee fraud prevention efforts, and optimize value for both sides of the marketplace. This is a high-impact leadership role that combines strategic planning, people management, affiliate marketing expertise, and operational oversight.
What You'll Do
Strategic Planning & Network Strategy
- Develop and own the overall strategy for how the company engages with affiliate subnetworks.
- Establish governance standards, compliance requirements, and quality benchmarks
- Create scalable processes and playbooks for network onboarding, management, and growth
- Identify market opportunities and evolving industry trends to inform strategic direction
Fraud Detection & Risk Management
- Develop fraud detection frameworks and policies that scale across the network ecosystem
- Partner with analysts to monitor and analyze traffic patterns and conversion data to identify fraudulent activity
- Review suspicious sub-affiliate behavior, including click fraud, cookie stuffing, lead fraud, and other violations
- Implement and enforce fraud prevention protocols to protect advertisers and maintain marketplace integrity
- Provide regular fraud reports and recommendations to subnetwork clients and leadership
Business Development & Relationship Management
- Identify and pursue opportunities to onboard large affiliate networks onto our platform
- Build relationships with prospective subnetwork clients and key industry players
- Develop go-to-market strategies to attract high-value subnetwork clients
- Partner with product marketing and growth teams to drive platform adoption
- Serve as executive sponsor for key strategic accounts and escalations
- Act as an industry expert, providing best practices and strategic guidance internally and externally
- Identify prospective growth opportunities by understanding segment demand within our Brands and of our strategic prospects
Revenue & Performance Management
- Own and drive GTV (Gross Transaction Value) targets for the platform
- Identify spend blocks and optimization opportunities across the network ecosystem
- Analyze performance trends and provide strategic recommendations to leadership
- Ensure networks are maximizing their potential on the platform
Enablement & Operations
- Guide your team in delivering marketing and sales enablement support to subnetwork clients
- Ensure clients optimize their use of our platform for operations and fraud detection
- Identify and resolve operational inefficiencies that impact performance
- Serve as a product influencer, providing feedback to product teams based on client needs and strategic
- vision
- Understand product cycles and timing to help networks maximize impact
What You Bring
- 5+ years of experience in affiliate marketing, partnership management, or network operations
- Proven track record of developing and executing partnership or network strategies
- Deep understanding of affiliate subnetwork operations, fraud patterns, and industry best practices
- Strong strategic thinking with the ability to translate vision into operational plans
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to analyze large datasets and identify trends
- Outstanding leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to balance multiple priorities: strategy development, team leadership, client success, fraud prevention, and growth
- Bachelors degree, or equivalent experience, in Business, Economics, or related field
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in strategic or leadership roles at affiliate networks, subnetworks, or platforms
- Background in SaaS platforms or technology companies
- Track record of successfully closing enterprise deals or onboarding large clients
- Experience building frameworks, playbooks, and scalable processes
- Familiarity with affiliate marketing platforms, fraud detection tools, and analytics systems
- Experience scaling teams and operations
- Knowledge of industry compliance standards and regulations
Salary Range: $130,000-$150,000 USD per year, plus an additional 5% Company annual bonus contingent on Company performance and eligibility to receive a Restricted Stock Unit (RSU) grant
- This is the pay range the Company believes is equitable for this position at the time of this posting.
