We are committed to being a great place to work and encourage our team members to excel and grow professionally.POSITION SUMMARY:The Marketplace Merchandising Manager is responsible for overseeing and optimizing product listings across multiple third-party marketplaces, including Amazon, eBay, Walmart, Target, Etsy, and more, for HRM Enterprises brands Hartville Hardware and Lehman's. This role requires expertise in e-commerce merchandising strategies, marketplace algorithms, and data-driven decision-making to maximize product visibility, conversion rates, and sales performance. The Marketplace Merchandising Manager will work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product, and operations, to ensure a seamless and successful marketplace strategy.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Manage and optimize marketplace product listings, ensuring accuracy, compelling content, and brand consistency. Develop and implement merchandising strategies to enhance product discoverability and sales performance. Monitor and analyze marketplace algorithms, trends, and customer behaviors to adjust listings and promotional strategies accordingly. Create compelling product descriptions, images, videos, and infographics tailored for each platform. Oversee pricing and promotional strategies to ensure competitiveness across all marketplaces. Conduct A/B testing and performance analysis to refine product positioning and enhance conversion rates. Work closely with the customer service team to address product-related inquiries and improve customer satisfaction. Stay updated on marketplace policies, compliance regulations, and best practices to ensure adherence and mitigate risks. Identify and implement automation tools and technologies to streamline marketplace operations. Provide regular performance reports and insights to leadership, highlighting growth opportunities and areas for improvement. Experience with product content creation, including search optimization, copywriting, and visual merchandising. Ability to work cross-functionally and communicate effectively with marketing, product, and operations teams. Detail-oriented with a strong sense of brand consistency and product positioning. Proficiency in marketplace management tools, e-commerce analytics, and digital marketing platforms. Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.SKILLS & ABILITIESEducation:- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, E-commerce, or a related field preferred.Experience:- 3+ years of experience in e-commerce, online merchandising, or marketplace management.- Hands-on experience with marketplace platforms, analytics tools, and content management systems.Certifications & Licenses:- Marketplace-related certifications (e.g., Amazon Seller Certifications) are a plus.LANGUAGE SKILLS- Ability to read, write, and comprehend English.- Strong writing skills for creating engaging product descriptions and marketing content.- Ability to effectively present information to customers, vendors, and internal teams.
