Automation & AI Developer for Fast-Growing E-Commerce Brand (Full-Time, Long-Term)

DESKSPACE is a fast-growing D2C E-Commerce brand building the workspace of the future – ergonomic, sustainable and aesthetic.

With over 20,000 customers and partners like REWE, Accor and E.ON, we're on track to scale our revenue from €4M to €8–10M in 2026.

To support this growth, we're looking for a full-time Automation & AI Developer to join us remotely and help automate the hell out of our operations.

About the Role

This role is perfect for someone who sees systems where others see chaos.

You'll work directly with the CEO and across all departments to identify, automate and optimize business processes – from logistics to finance, CRM, and customer support.

You won't just build workflows – you'll build a scalable operating system for a growing e-commerce company.

Long-term, this role has the potential to evolve into a strategic tech/growth leadership position

What You'll Do

• Design, build & maintain workflows using , Zapier, n8n, or custom code
• Automate processes across operations, logistics, marketing, sales, support & finance
• Build micro tools & dashboards (e.g. using Python, Google Apps Script, Airtable, Notion APIs)
• Integrate thirdparty tools like Shopify, Klaviyo, Notion, Stripe, Google Sheets, Slack, etc.
• Identify bottlenecks and repetitive tasks, and replace them with automations
• Set up API integrations, webhooks, cron jobs and system triggers
• Document your systems and keep everything running smooth and reliable
• Work closely with the CEO and ops to prioritize and build what matters

Requirements

• 2–4+ years experience with automation tools like Make, Zapier, n8n or similar
• Strong scripting skills (Python, JavaScript, or similar)
• Fast systems thinker – you can map out a process and optimize it endtoend
• Experience in ecommerce environments or SaaS workflows is a strong plus
• Confident working with APIs, webhooks, structured data flows
• You're selfmanaged, curious and quick – you don't wait, you build
• Bonus: Experience with AI tools, GPT API, OpenAI, or LangChain
• Even bigger bonus: You're aiming for a longterm strategic role in a highgrowth brand
