Sales & Marketing - Content Specialist

Are you a content creator with a passion for skiing or snowboarding? We are looking for an

experienced Content Specialist to join the Cypress team and capture the magic of Cypress

Mountain this winter. As the driving force behind our social media and photo/video

activities, you will be responsible for sharing powder days with the world. In this role, you

will collaborate with multiple departments to showcase the teams behind-the-scenes,

current conditions, and events. Strong skiing or snowboarding ability as well as previous

experience in outdoor photography and videography is required.

• *DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES **(include but not limited to the following)**:
• Drive all in-house, on-mountain photography and videography efforts by creating

consistent content featuring current conditions, events, experiences, and products.

• Complete daily social media monitoring, respond to online inquiries, and engage with

our community across Instagram and Facebook.

• Support the Cypress Mountain social media strategy with idea generation,

copywriting, scheduling, reporting, and managing the content calendar.

• Assist the Marketing team with special projects and events as needed.

• *QUALIFICATIONS/COMPETENCIES**:
• Strong photography, videography, and editing skills.
• Ability to work outside in all weather conditions.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency with MS Office and Adobe Creative Cloud.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays

depending on the demands of the season.

• Strong skiing or snowboarding ability and confidence in all terrain and conditions.
• *Education & Experience**:
• High School or equivalent.
• 1-2 years of relevant experience creating content outdoors.
• *CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS**:
• Must be able to legally work in Canada.***
• Hold a valid BC Driver’s License.
• Own vehicle/transportation preferred.
