  • *What is the job?**

The Marketing Analytics Specialist, reporting to Manager, Marketing Technology, will reside in the Marketing department and work in close collaboration with the Digital Experience and Enterprise Analytics teams. You will guide and implement the technical requirements of our site optimization, search optimization and analytics initiatives following Coast Capital Savings (CCS) best practices and standards.

This role is cross-functional and can include front-end and back-end development. The Marketing Analytics Specialist role sits on the Marketing Technology team and is focused on building and optimizing our digital analytics infrastructure in order to be able to provide marketing insights, member experience insights, product usage and experience insights.

This role will help define and continuously improve upon the data layer and implement that through front-end development on our public website and member facing tools, and execute front end tracking development for SEO, manage our Google Tag Management Solution requiring a knowledge of JavaScript and other front-end skills.

  • *What you’ll get to do**
  • Guide the optimization of CCS’s digital analytics tools; ensure ongoing data collection and data accuracy; and capture all analytics tagging and tracking requirements.
  • Translate business requirements, goals and objectives into measurement, reporting and technical specifications.
  • Configure and execute A/B and multivariate tests and provide post-test analysis.
  • Develop and maintain custom dashboards and reports; integrate web, mobile and member database data.
  • Set and track key performance indicators and conversion goals and identify product and funnel improvement opportunities.
  • Provide analytics oversight on new projects and product features and develop dashboards and reports for stakeholder visibility of project/product performance.
  • *Who are we looking for?**
  • Degree or diploma in Computer Science or related field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Additional information: 3+ years of experience in digital analytics, audience & tag management, dashboard reporting, CRM, A/B & multivariate testing, and marketing automation platforms. Experience with data management platforms is an asset.
  • Expert knowledge of Google Analytics 360, Google Tag Manager and Google Optimize
  • Experience with business intelligence and data visualization tools such as Tableau and Google Data Studio; well versed in data visualization principles
  • Experience with software version management systems and task/bug tracking software (e.g. JIRA)
  • Experience working in an Agile/SCRUM development environment
  • Experience in relational database development using Microsoft SQL Server
  • Strong command of JavaScript with jQuery
  • Experience with enterprise level deployment
  • Ability to coordinate multiple projects and tasks and work to tight timelines.
  • Ability to be flexible and adaptable in a changing environment.
  • Strong attention to detail, highly organized and responsive.
  • Ability to interpret and synthesize data, and distill into findings and recommendations.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Collaborative, detail-oriented, creative thinker with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
