ABOUT THE ROLE

Bridgeport is seeking a highly organized, creative, and experienced Marketing & Brand Development Coordinator to support and strengthen our growing brand. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, understands the nuances of financial services marketing, and can bring both strategic execution and hands-on coordination to a wide range of marketing initiatives.

As a key member of our team, you will help shape our public presence, support advisor marketing programs, and elevate the overall client experience. You will work closely with senior leadership, external agencies, and internal partners to ensure our brand is presented consistently and professionally across all platforms.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Digital Marketing & Social Media

  • Plan, write, and schedule LinkedIn posts, including thought leadership, campaigns, announcements, and advisor-focused content
  • Manage and monitor LinkedIn and Facebook marketing activities, including boosting, targeting, and analytics
  • Coordinate email marketing campaigns to clients and advisors using Mailchimp or similar platforms
  • Develop, implement, and track marketing performance metrics, including engagement, reach, conversion, and other relevant KPIs, and provide regular reporting to leadership.

Content & Brand Development

  • Assist in developing and producing monthly newsletters for clients and financial advisors
  • Support the creation of marketing collateral, presentations, campaigns, and brand assets
  • Help maintain consistency of brand voice, tone, and visual identity across all materials

Website & Platform Management

  • Update, edit, and manage content on the company WordPress website
  • Coordinate with external designers and developers to ensure a polished, up-to-date web presence

Event Support & Project Coordination

  • Project manage client and advisor events, including logistics, communications
  • Work closely with leadership to execute a structured annual marketing schedule across campaigns, events, newsletters, and product initiatives
  • Manage external vendors and service providers (designers, videographers, printers, etc.)

Design & Creative Support

  • Assist with basic design tasks (social posts, simple graphics, layout edits)
  • Coordinate with external creative partners for advanced design work

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

  • 3+ years of marketing experience, preferably in financial services (but not required)
  • Strong proficiency with LinkedIn, Facebook, Google, and other digital marketing platforms
  • Experience with Mailchimp (or similar email marketing tools)
  • Working knowledge of WordPress (editing, posting, basic formatting)
  • Experience writing newsletters, social media content, and client communications
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously
  • Familiarity with basic design software (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work on-site, collaborate closely with leadership, and contribute to a high-performing team
