Position Overview

Compensation: Salary with a targeted base salary range of $103,000.00 - $133,700.00.

Blue Diamond Growers—the world’s largest almond company and a cooperative owned by nearly 3,000 farming families—is seeking a Marketing Manager - Sustainability & Ingredients to lead global business strategies. In this role, you will position sustainable service offerings, drive demand, and accelerate growth across value-added ingredient sales while championing Blue Diamond’s sustainability story to create customer value and strengthen strategic relationships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute multi-channel, performance-focused marketing campaigns across paid, owned, and earned media for almond ingredients, working with agencies.
  • Partner with the Sr. Manager to integrate sustainability into the ingredient business’s value proposition and oversee integrated marketing plans that embed sustainability as a competitive advantage.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert in sustainability for customer-facing meetings and coordinate cross-functional responses to customer sustainability surveys and inquiries.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders on competitive analysis related to ingredient sustainability.
  • Manage trade shows and marketing events, including pre-show promotion, booth messaging, sponsorship, and post-event lead management.
  • Plan, launch, and optimize advertising initiatives across digital and trade marketing channels.
  • Lead social media strategy with a focus on LinkedIn for B2B engagement and thought leadership.
  • Build and manage a robust content calendar to support demand generation and awareness around the ingredient brand, products, and sustainability.
  • Manage marketing automation and CRM tools to support lead generation and nurturing programs.
  • Optimize email drip campaigns to advance leads through the marketing funnel.
  • Measure, analyze, and report on campaign effectiveness by tracking KPIs such as traffic, conversion rates, engagement, and ROI.
  • Secure editorial coverage, press opportunities, and advertorial placements to support sustainability ratings and rankings for Blue Diamond Growers.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years in marketing or related work experience, including at least 3 years in sustainability and/or environmental science.
  • Knowledge of environmental science and practices related to agriculture.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel.
  • Strong written communication skills.
  • A combined total of 10 years in marketing and/or sustainability demonstrating increasing levels of responsibility.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of almond cultural practices, marketing trends, tendencies, and procedures.
  • Master's of Business Administration (MBA) degree.
  • Experience with business-to-business (B2B) customer engagement.
  • Familiarity with sustainability principles and concepts.
  • Experience in food or consumer products marketing.
  • Proven experience commercializing sustainability products or solutions.
  • Experience contributing to value proposition development.
  • Public speaking and presentation skills.
  • Graphic design skills.
