**Key Responsibilities**

The following are the main responsibilities of the Digital Marketing Specialist:

  • **Website Management**: Make the website into the most effective marketing and communications tool and lead generator.
  • **Building Ecommerce Business**: Manage existing e-commerce products, continuously adding new groups of products and making the site more customer friendly.
  • **Create Content**: For use across all Mediums - Well organized, optimized, informative and educational content is required - i.e. Video; Info Graphics; Updated Images; Articles; Case Studies; Operational Specifications; Drawings, Dimensions, etc.
  • **Social Media**: For Brand recognition and development of association of BARR with the innovative Products and Applications that they provide. Case Studies, Articles, Videos.
  • **Sales Team Support**: For all marketing needs. i.e. trade show organization and execution, creation of tradeshow brochures.
  • Image and Image & Video Library management.
  • Communicate and work directly with SEO/SEM external teams.
  • Regular reviewing and reporting on analytics and return on investment.
  • Develop marketing strategies, campaigns, and content calendar for social media channels.
  • Maintain consistency of BARR brand/Sub brands across all mediums.
  • Monitor and administer analytic dashboards, report out key findings and utilize insights to drive future marketing initiatives.
  • Establish and maintain marketing budgets.
  • From time-to-time other duties as assigned. i.e. Signage, corporate apparel etc.
  • *Education, Experiences, and Competencies**:
  • Diploma or Degree in Marketing or Graphic Design or an equivalent working experience relating to web development/design, graphic design/marketing in an in-house environment.
  • Extensive experience in Graphic Design using industry standard tools such as: Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, and Premiere).
  • Basic to intermediate web development skills: HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Experience with analytical tools such as Google Analytics.
  • Working knowledge of Search Engine Optimization and Search Engine Marketing for collaborating with external teams.
  • Knowledge of Website Content Management Systems (Shopify).
  • Understanding and experience in using advanced web/social media advertising techniques such as remarketing and cross platform targeting.
