Senior DTC E-commerce Manager (Shopify + Meta Ads)

About Apex Sports

Apex Sports is a leading sports training equipment brand in the U.S., best known for dominating the volleyball category on Amazon. In 2026, our focus is aggressively scaling our direct-to-consumer (Shopify) business.

We are looking for a Senior DTC E-commerce Manager to fully own and scale our Shopify channel.

This role is hands-on, performance-driven, and highly impactful. You’ll work directly with the founder and lead the execution across paid ads, creative, email marketing, and CRO.

What You’ll Own

1. DTC Growth & Revenue

  • Own Shopify revenue growth
  • Build and execute the DTC growth roadmap
  • Track KPIs weekly (revenue, CPA, ROAS, AOV, CVR)

2. Meta Ads (Hands-On)

  • Manage and scale Meta ads (Advantage+ experience required)
  • Lead creative testing and scaling frameworks
  • Work closely with our creative editor to launch new ads weekly
  • Analyze performance and iterate fast

3. Creative & Content Leadership

  • Lead and manage our UGC/content flywheel
  • Approve social content and ad creatives
  • Supervise and guide our in-house creative/editor
  • Ensure consistent brand and performance messaging

4. Email Marketing (Klaviyo)

  • Own all email campaigns and automated flows
  • Build and optimize:
  • Welcome
  • Abandoned cart
  • Post-purchase
  • Winback
  • Promotional & content campaigns
  • Target 20–30% of Shopify revenue from email

5. CRO & Shopify Optimization

  • Improve PDPs, landing pages, and checkout flow
  • Run ongoing CRO tests (offers, bundles, layout, UGC placement)
  • Improve site speed and mobile conversion

6. DTC Inventory Forecasting

  • Forecast Shopify demand and sell-through
  • Coordinate with operations to prevent stockouts
  • Prepare for peak seasonal demand (Q3/Q4)

Who We’re Looking For

You are NOT just a strategist — you execute.

Required

  • 3–6+ years experience in DTC e-commerce
  • Strong, hands-on Meta Ads experience (ecommerce, not lead gen)
  • Proven experience scaling Shopify brands
  • Experience managing creatives or editors
  • Strong understanding of UGC and performance creative
  • Klaviyo experience (flows + campaigns)
  • Comfortable owning revenue targets
  • Excellent English communication skills

Nice to Have

  • Experience with high-AOV products
  • Sports, fitness, or training brand experience
  • Experience transitioning brands from Amazon → DTC
  • Triple Whale or advanced analytics experience
