**Description**

  • *18 Waits** is hiring an E-Commerce and Marketing Manager in Toronto.**
  • *E-Commerce** - keep website up-to-date with new collections and products on a seasonal and ad-hoc basis
  • Creating and updating new products
  • Creating collections/re-organizing the site (eg. seasonal gift guides)
  • Update pricing on website dynamically as sales start and stop
  • Optimize site according to industry best practices and standards to ensure highest conversion rates YoY.
  • Setting up and maintaining apps that optimize the website (i.e. JustUno for pop ups, yotpo for reviews, Theme updater for shopify theme, quickbooks for accounting, etc.)
  • Responding to and exploring new apps that may be beneficial to the brand Marketing
  • Consistently monitor for new agency/partner/freelancer opportunities and make informed decisions surrounding their potential to aid in our growth strategy. Social Media, PR, & Influencer Management
  • Use Canva to create all manner of on-brand marketing and PR materials.
  • Schedule and manage on-brand social content via LATER app.
  • Manage PR outreach for events and new collections.
  • Liaise with media when approached for collabs.
  • Liaise with, and manage influencer agreements/collaborations and giveaways following brand guidelines and tone of voice.
  • **Photo Shoots**
  • Plan shoots for creative lookbooks, ecommerce product listings, etc.
  • Liaise with photographers to guide shoot (provide specs and ensure photos are of high quality).
  • Organize logistics of shoot (discuss how many and which models, coordinate date and time, ensure they know what to bring to shoot, pull products that need to be shot, keep a shot list to ensure we don’t miss anything).
  • **Event Planning**
  • Create, promote and market events such as our store concert series, store anniversary parties, wine and whiskey nights, etc. *Done with Dan
  • **Customer Service** - converse with customers on all manner of issues - items out of stock, issues with items, shipping delays, questions about sizing, etc in a warm and professional manner.
  • Maintain customer “wish list” doc to keep track of interest in certain products. (*This will chiefly be done by Store Manager but correspondence with customers via social media - if that’s
  • **Sales/Product Forecasting** - work with owner to estimate product quantities, styles, sizing, and profit margins for each upcoming season based on sales success.
  • **Production Related Assistance** - double check production templates for errors (i.e. order summary)
  • Work closely with production when new product is received to get it on website ASAP
  • **Store Management** - liaise with store staff on inventory management and day to day running of store.
  • Making sure shipping is running smoothly (Canada Post, Chit Chats, Fare for Local delivery) and liaising with each shipping service on issues when needed.
