Role Description

This is a non-paid role for a Writer and Subscriber to Local Digital and Print Newspaper at www.SMSNovel.com, located in the DMV. The responsibilities include writing and creating engaging content, researching local topics and stories, contributing creatively to the development of articles and narratives, and maintaining subscriptions to local digital and print newspapers. The role requires collaboration with the editorial team to ensure relevant and high-quality content is consistently delivered.

Qualifications

• Strong Writing, Editing, and Proofreading skills
• Local resident within 100 miles of newspaper
• Proficiency in Research and Content Strategy to produce accurate, well-informed narratives,
• Are a subscriber/supporter of the news paper yourself
• Able to contribute 10,000 words per month, and 2 videos weekly.
• Experience in Creative Writing and Story Development
• Knowledge of Digital and Print Media platforms and trends
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Dedication to staying updated on local news and trends
• Proficiency with digital tools and technologies for content creation
• Interest in Journalism, Communications, English, or related field preferred.
• All writers are required to subscribe to paper, make one in person meeting per month, 2 remotely meetings per month.
