Digital Advertising & Data Operations Contractor (Hourly, Remote – U.S.)
Overview
We are seeking a highly capable Digital Advertising & Data Operations contractor to support ongoing digital campaigns. This role is for someone who already understands how advertising and performance data moves across platforms and can execute assignments independently with minimal oversight.
This is not an entry-level or administrative role. You will be expected to know how to do the work when given an assignment. Platform-specific orientation may be provided where needed (e.g., Speak4), but core skills must already be in place.
What You’ll Do
o Export and manage performance data from platforms including:
oMeta Ads Manager
o Google Analytics 4 (GA4)
o Mailchimp
o StackAdapt
o Speak4 (platform specifics provided)
o Clean, merge, dedupe, and normalize datasets across platforms
o Maintain consistent IDs, formats, and structures for import/export workflows
o Prepare Excel files suitable for
o Client reporting
o Re-uploading into email, SMS, or advocacy platforms
o Track and manage data associated with digital, email, and phone/SMS campaigns
o Flag insights and issues, including
o Top-performing ads or messages
o Anomalies or red flags in performance data
o Data integrity or consistency problems
o Handle sensitive datasets professionally and securely
Required Qualifications (Non-Negotiable)
o Advanced Excel skills
o XLOOKUP / VLOOKUP
o Pivot tables
o Conditional formatting
o Deduplication and normalization
o Hands-on experience working with digital advertising or marketing performance data
o Comfortable navigating multiple platforms without step-by-step instructions
o Strong intuition for data hygiene and structure
o Able to take written instructions and execute independently
o U.S.-based contractor
o Willing to sign an NDA
Nice to Have
- Familiarity with email and SMS list management
- Background in marketing operations, analytics, or reporting roles
Engagement Details
- Hourly contractor (1099)
- Remote (U.S. only)
- Mix of recurring scheduled work and ad hoc requests
- Flexible hours, with reliable turnaround expected
- Pay range: $45–$55/hour, depending on experience
