Architect Wanted to Visualize Full Home & Garden Transformation

Hi 😊

I’m looking to collaborate with an architect and interior designer, to help me explore and visualize a long-term vision for my home, garden, and additional buildings. Before making any construction decisions, I want to see ideas clearly through sketches, and 3D visualizations. Images and videos help me understand flow, proportions, atmosphere, and long-term potential much better than drawings alone.

I am not looking for someone who only executes instructions. I value experts who question ideas, propose alternatives, and explain trade-offs. I’m especially interested in understanding:

What is feasible

What is risky

What should be avoided

A part from attached document, I have a moodboard and early concept material prepared.

This will be shared with shortlisted candidates to ensure alignment before starting.

Project Overview.

Existing main house

• Already built
• Two small extensions (~10 sqm each)
• Minor façade design touches
• Major change: conversion to a mansard roof
• No basement under the main house

Additional buildings & spaces (vision to explore):

• Orangery / greenhouse
• Attefallshus
• Friggebod
• Garden, front- and backyard
• Potential basements under new buildings (to be explored, not decided)

The Attefallshus and Friggebod would be approx. 3–4 meters from the main house, so structural interaction, soil, and drainage must be considered carefully.

The greenhouse would be further away (~18 m).

What I’m Looking For Help With.

Architecture & Structure

• Feasibility of adding a mansard roof
• Understanding added loads and impact on existing foundations
• Early risk assessment for basements close to the main house
• Drainage, moisture, and soil considerations
• Clear, visual explanations (sketches, diagrams)

Interior & Spatial Design

• Flow and cohesion across multiple floors and buildings
• Interior zoning and atmosphere
• Material and design language consistency
• 3D visualizations and concept renders
• Optional walkthroughs / flythroughs

The goal is to align structure and experience from the start. 😊
