WBHM is hiring a Radio Digital Audio Operations Manager to serve as the radio and digital audio technology operations expert for all WBHM platforms and content. This includes content through WBHM partners, online content platforms, and new emerging technologies. This key role plays a vital part in ensuring the seamless day-to-day operations of WBHM, from scheduling and traffic management to technical support and production coordination. This position will be responsible for operations on the 2 FM radio signals and 2 HD channels.
To serve as the radio and digital audio technology operations expert for all WBHM platforms and content including content through WBHM partners, online content platforms, and new emerging technologies. To ensure the seamless day-to-day operations of WBHM, from scheduling and traffic management to technical support and production coordination. Responsible for operations on the FM radio signals and HD channels. Reports to the Director of Technology & Engineering and works closely with WBHM's Leadership team and in support of WBHM's newsroom.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Maintains compliance for WBHM FM HD-1 and 90.3 HD-2.
- Monitors all engineering and technology (on-air/digital audio) operations.
- Coordinates production and programming Leadership duties.
- Perform other duties as assigned
Salary Range: $46,530 - $75,615
Bachelor's degree in Radio/Television, Mass Communications, Audio Technology, Music, Theatre, Journalism, Information Systems, or related field and three (3) years of related experience required. Work experience may substitute for education requirement.
Preferred Skills and Knowledge
- 3-5 years of experience, training, education or any equivalent combination in radio operations management
