OpenText is seeking a bold, strategic, and deeply innovative SVP, Corporate Marketing to architect our global brand, elevate our presence in the enterprise technology landscape, and accelerate our position as a leader in AI‑powered business transformation. Reporting directly to the CEO, this is a rare opportunity to influence company direction at the highest levels, inspire a world‑class team, and design the marketing engine that powers OpenText’s next era of growth.
The SVP, Corporate Marketing will define and lead OpenText’s global corporate marketing vision, ensuring the company’s brand, narrative, and presence are aligned with aggressive growth objectives. This executive will champion the corporate brand, expand OpenText’s influence across global markets, and drive marketing excellence across thought leadership, events, digital channels, and AI‑focused storytelling. Success in this role requires strategic clarity, high operational standards, and deep expertise in enterprise technology and digital transformation.
Key Responsibilities
Corporate Marketing Strategy
- Develop and execute a comprehensive corporate marketing strategy that strengthens OpenText’s market position and accelerates business growth.
- Translate company priorities into cohesive, scalable marketing plans that resonate across global markets and customer segments.
Brand Leadership & Reputation Management
- Elevate OpenText’s global brand by defining and reinforcing a compelling corporate narrative centered on innovation, AI leadership, and customer value.
- Ensure consistent, high‑quality messaging across all regions, industries, and channels.
AI & Innovation Marketing
- Position OpenText as a visionary leader in AI‑driven information management and digital transformation.
- Lead campaigns and storytelling that articulate the real‑world impact of OpenText’s innovations.
Global & Regional Events
- Oversee all major corporate events, including OpenText World, ensuring exceptional execution, strong customer engagement, and measurable business impact.
- Guide regional teams in delivering events and programs that align with global marketing strategies.
Thought Leadership & Executive Visibility
- Develop compelling thought leadership platforms, executive content, and strategic campaigns that spotlight OpenText’s expertise and differentiators.
- Strengthen the voices of OpenText executives across global media, industry forums, and digital channels.
Digital Marketing & Demand Acceleration
- Direct modern, data‑driven digital marketing initiatives to increase brand reach, accelerate pipeline, and expand customer engagement.
- Leverage marketing technology, analytics, and social platforms to maximize impact.
Executive Partnership & Cross‑Functional Leadership
- Collaborate closely with the ELT to ensure marketing strategies align with company priorities.
- Partner with business unit leaders to support product momentum, market expansion, and corporate priorities.
Performance Metrics & Reporting
- Establish KPIs, dashboards, and reporting mechanisms to measure the performance of brand, digital, and event marketing initiatives.
- Use insights to refine strategies and demonstrate marketing’s contribution to business outcomes.
Team Leadership
- Build, mentor, and inspire a high‑performing global marketing organization.
- Foster an inclusive, creative, high‑accountability culture that embraces innovation and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Extensive senior‑level experience in enterprise technology marketing, within a large, global B2B organization.
- Proven track record in corporate brand strategy, executive communications, event leadership, and digital marketing transformation.
- Strong understanding of AI, cloud, data, and enterprise software markets.
- Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to inspire, influence, and develop diverse global teams.
- Demonstrated success in driving measurable business results through marketing strategy and execution.
- Outstanding communication skills and executive presence, with the ability to influence C‑suite leaders and external stakeholders.
- Experience overseeing high‑profile global events and multi‑region marketing programs.

Salary Range: $x - $x; Depending on the candidate’s education, experience, skills, geographical location, and alignment with internal equity and external market, actual salary may vary and be higher or lower than the range posted.
