Strategic Marketing Manager

The Strategic Marketing Manager is responsible for the new product development process from concept to full commercial launch. This role will lead assessing the market, collaborating with project teams, outlining product requirements, building and executing go-to-market plans, and partnering with commercial marketing and sales training.

This includes working cross-functionally with R&D, Operations, QA/RA, Project Management, Product Management, Finance, and Sales to drive Meridian strategy.

  • Lead global pre-launch activities of new products
  • Partner with R&D, Operations, Regulatory, Quality, Project Management, Product Management, Finance, and Sales in new product development projects
  • Work with global commercial marketing teams to develop sustainable product go-to-market plans
  • Collaborate with product managers, sales trainers, and marketing and sales leaders to develop and execute comprehensive new product launches
  • Complete market assessments, build business cases, and product requirements, and make recommendations for new products
  • Help identify, assess, and drive potential business opportunities

Required qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in marketing or a related field, at least five years of experience in marketing for clinical laboratory diagnostics, and experience in the IVD industry and/or clinical diagnostic labs.

Additional competencies required include IVD market and product knowledge, strong business acumen, analytical skills, and strategy development skills.
