Position Summary

The Director, Digital Fundraising is a hands-on leader responsible for building and scaling Good360's digital individual giving program. This role will drive donor acquisition, retention, and growth through digital channels while integrating with offline strategies and sustaining giving initiatives. The Director will play a key role in campaign execution, platform optimization, donor journeys, and performance analysis.

Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following

  • Build, manage, and optimize Good360's digital fundraising program from the ground up.
  • Own performance, strategy, creative development and execution across digital channels including email, paid social, peer-to-peer, search, SMS, and website giving.
  • Leverage fundraising platforms such Fundraise Up or similar to execute donation campaigns.
  • Leverage eCRM platforms with integrated email marketing such as DotDigital, Luminate Online, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, or similar to manage donor journeys, segmentation, and campaign performance.
  • Develop integrated campaigns that link online and offline strategies, including direct mail, SMS, and donor stewardship.
  • Lead digital strategy for sustaining giving, including acquisition, upgrade, and retention paths.
  • Oversee email and text marketing content calendar, segmentation, testing, and deliverability.
  • Collaborate with website manager, social media manager, and other members of marketing and communications teams to ensure consistent donor experiences and successful cross-functional integration.
  • Provide reporting and insights on campaign performance, user behavior, and donor retention trends.

Qualifications/Requirements

The ideal candidate will bring exceptional digital fundraising expertise, a focus on innovation, and a collaborative spirit to help drive Good360's mission forward. Key qualifications include:

  • Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in digital fundraising and campaign management.
  • Proven success in growing revenue and donor base via digital channels.
  • Experience in both digital and multichannel fundraising, including sustaining giving programs.
  • Strong hands-on experience with fundraising platforms such as Fundraise Up, Engaging Networks, or similar, as well as eCRM platforms like DotDigital, Luminate Online, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, or comparable tools.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and written communication skills.
  • Ability to collaborate successfully in a matrixed environment, particularly across marketing and communications teams.
  • Proficiency in digital analytics and the ability to derive actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills.
  • Collaborative, strategic, and results-oriented.

Salary Range

$110,000 – $130,000 annually

Note: Compensation is based on a candidate's experience, skills, education, and geographic location. This range is based on Washington, D.C.–Maryland–Virginia (DMV) market data; offers to candidates outside this area will reflect local market data.

Work Location

Hybrid, based in our Old Town Alexandria, VA office (minimum of two days per week with Tuesday as an anchor day)
