Sr Digital Design Engineer - Custom Processor

We are a fully funded semiconductor startup that is building state-of-the-art AI processors that will significantly reduce data center power consumption lowering carbon emissions and helping address climate change.

We are moving to tape-out later this year and actively seeking Digital Design Engineers / Architects who can be available in the south San Francisco Bay area or Las Vegas (we can relocate you)!

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in digital design as well as expertise is areas such as interfaces, APB peripherals, chip tape-out & debug, high-speed cache, coherence, AXI, etc.... This role focuses on developing and verifying high-performance digital systems and contributing to innovative custom designs.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science
• 4+ years of relevant industry experience
• Knowledge of C programming, scripting is a plus
• Knowledge of ARM and x86
• Multicore processor designs
• Strong familiarity with PCIe, Ethernet (100G and above), DDR4, or related
• Experience with FPGA design and architectural concepts
• Deep understanding of the digital design flow from architecture, RTL design, verification, and synthesis
• Understanding of pipeline designs and computer architecture
• Logic design experience with state of the art deep submicron technologies specifically high speed, low power design techniques
• Familiar with Verilog / SystemVerilog / Synthesis / STA / CDC / LINT
