Role Description

CTC EdTech is looking for a UI/UX, Product Design & Digital Marketing Intern (Figma Specialist) who is passionate about design, user experience, and digital branding.

This is a hands-on, real-product internship where interns will work directly with the founder and core team on live web and mobile products, branding assets, and digital platforms.

This is a volunteer (unpaid) internship, designed for skill growth, real-world exposure, and portfolio development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design UI/UX screens, wireframes, and prototypes using Figma
  • Create user flows and interaction designs for web and mobile apps
  • Support product design for real startup products
  • Design digital marketing creatives (social media posts, banners, visuals)
  • Maintain and update company social media platforms (design & posting)
  • Ensure brand and design consistency across all digital assets
  • Support landing pages and growth-focused designs
  • Use AI tools and prompting for design ideation and optimization
  • Collaborate with developers for design handoff and implementation
  • Assist with design-related client communication (feedback, revisions, presentations)
  • Maintain design systems, components, and style guides

Eligibility Criteria

This opportunity is open to candidates who meet all of the following requirements:

  • Currently enrolled as an undergraduate or master’s student
  • Possess a minimum of one (1) year of prior experience in UI/UX design, product design, or digital design
  • Demonstrate a strong working knowledge of Figma
  • Authorized to participate under one of the following:
  • Curricular Practical Training (CPT)
  • Initial Optional Practical Training (OPT) with a minimum of eight (8) months of valid work authorization remaining
  • Able to work in a remote startup environment while being based in or associated with the California San Francisco Bay Area
  • Available to commit a minimum of twenty (20) hours per week
  • Strong written and verbal communication and collaboration skills
