Job Overview

We are seeking a Marketing Associate - Digital Content Specialist who will help facilitate the creative direction of various projects, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to translate conceptual ideas into compelling visual assets. You will be responsible for producing high-quality designs across multiple platforms and marketing channels, ensuring consistency and adherence to brand guidelines. The ideal candidate will possess a keen eye for detail, strong conceptual thinking, and a passion for innovation in design, while balancing the ability to write engaging copy to produce exceptional content used across a variety of marketing channels and tactics.

Key Responsibilities

Content Creation, Strategy, & Marketing

  • Plan, write, and edit compelling digital content, including blog posts, white papers, social media copy, email campaigns, case studies, landing pages, and more
  • Develop and manage a content calendar aligned with business goals and marketing campaigns

Visual Design & Creative Execution

  • Develop and execute creative concepts for print, digital, and multimedia projects, including branding, marketing collateral, social media graphics, presentations, and website design
  • Lead design projects from inception to completion, managing timelines, resources, and deliverables effectively
  • Maintain brand consistency across all touchpoints, ensuring all creative assets reflect brand identity and adhere to guidelines
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand project objectives, target audiences, and messaging—and translate those into visually engaging content
  • Stay current with design trends, tools, and best practices—and integrate them into content and design strategy
  • Collaborate with external vendors, agencies, and internal advisors when needed, overseeing production and ensuring quality control
  • Handle multiple creative projects simultaneously, balancing priorities and deadlines with attention to detail
  • Continuously push creative boundaries to elevate our brand presence and customer experience

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in digital content creation and design, with a strong portfolio showcasing a diverse range of projects and design styles.
  • Strong writing and editing skills, with a portfolio of written content across platforms
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), and other relevant design software.
  • Solid understanding of design principles, typography, color theory, and layout techniques.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to articulate and present creative ideas effectively.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage deadlines, and work effectively under pressure.
  • Experience working in a collaborative team environment, with a positive attitude and willingness to share knowledge and expertise.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, design tools, and best practices.
  • Experience in motion graphics, video editing, or UI/UX design is a plus.
  • Proficient with web and digital design and technologies
  • A passion for creativity, innovation, and continuous learning, with a strong desire to contribute to the success of our team and organization.

Position: Full-time

Location: Wheaton, IL (Onsite full-time, not a hybrid/remote position)
