Required Skills & Qualifications

• 8-10 years of experience in backend engineering and cloud computing
• Proficiency in major cloud platforms such as Azure, Google Cloud, or AWS
• Strong understanding of microservices and cloud-native methodologies
• Expert knowledge of backend technologies including SAP Commerce Cloud, Elastic Search, Redis, MSSQL, and MySQL
• Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
• Strong competence in programming languages like Java, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
• Excellent communication and presentation skills

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with ecommerce platforms such as Magento, Mirakl, and Punchouts
• Understanding of REST, GraphQL, and event-driven architecture principles
• Experience with APM and monitoring tools like AWS CloudWatch, Dynatrace, and Datadog
• Knowledge of diagramming tools such as Miro and Diagrams.net

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Implement backend architectural artifacts and platform-level systems
• Contribute to and maintain architecture decision records
• Enable the team to adhere to backend engineering policies and standards
• Support backend operational practices and drive ecommerce projects
• Ensure compliance with best practices in disaster resiliency and recovery planning
• Engage in knowledge transfer, training, and mentoring across the engineering team
