Summary of position

We are looking for a highly organized and analytical individual with an ownership mindset for the role of Marketing Coordinator. This individual will join a rapidly growing company in the Wisconsin solar industry and be responsible for the organization of marketing content in all corporate avenues and the management of all social media marketing.

The Marketing Coordinator will work across multiple business units in both field and office roles to create, organize, and utilize marketing content. This includes creating, editing, and posting content across various platforms, including web pages. This role requires exceptional organizational skills as well as excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.

Candidates will be well-versed or familiar with social media and web analytics, understand the nuances, advantages, and recommendations of each platform, and utilize data in formulating a campaign strategy across multiple audience segments. Arch engages with all aspects of the solar industry, from homes and small businesses to large industries and utility-scale projects. The Marketing Coordinator will be an individual who values continual learning and the opportunity to shape the Midwest energy landscape.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Brand & Content Development

  • Create and schedule compelling marketing content that reflects Arch’s brand values.
  • Develop social media posts, blog articles, email newsletters, project spotlights, and recruitment marketing materials.
  • Gather project photos, customer testimonials, and technical details from internal teams to highlight craftsmanship and outcomes.
  • Uphold Arch’s brand standards across all channels, ensuring consistent voice, visuals, and messaging.

Campaign Execution

  • Assist in planning and executing marketing campaigns that support lead generation.
  • Prepare targeted email workflows, event promotions, seasonal campaigns, and paid advertising support.
  • Coordinate with the sales team to align marketing output with pipeline needs and opportunities.

Digital Marketing & Website Support

  • Manage day-to-day social media presence and community engagement across Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and emerging platforms.
  • Update website content, including staff pages, project portfolio entries, landing pages, and blog posts.
  • Monitor digital performance metrics, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.

Sales & Internal Support

  • Develop and maintain sales collateral, one-pagers, customer guides, and slide decks used by the Arch sales team.
  • Support the creation and organization of proposal templates and customer education materials.
  • Ensure marketing-generated leads are accurately tracked within the CRM and assist with lead-quality reporting.

Events & Community Engagement

  • Support planning and logistics for events such as open houses, trade shows, community sustainability events, and educational presentations.
  • Coordinate promotional materials, signage, and follow-up communications.

Market Research & Reporting

  • Conduct research on Wisconsin solar policies, incentives, competitors, and emerging trends.
  • Prepare monthly reports for leadership summarizing KPIs such as lead flow, social media performance, and campaign outcomes.
  • Develop and manage marketing SOP’s as needed as Arch grows.

Knowledge and Skill Requirements

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, business, or related field (or equivalent experience).

Preferred experience and/or training

  • 1-3 years of marketing experience; experience in renewable energy or construction is a plus.
  • Experience with Canva or Adobe Creative Suite preferred.
  • Experience with online community building.
  • Proficiency with social media analytics.
  • Time management skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communications.
  • Passion for sustainability, clean energy, and supporting community-driven solutions.

Required Licenses/Certificates

  • Driver’s License

Technology/Equipment

  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite computer programs.
