About TallGrass Natural Health

TallGrass Natural Health is a leading omnichannel partner taking care of everything natural brands need to grow sales in Canada. We partner with brands and connect them to Canadian retailers, health care professionals and DTC ecommerce platforms to reach natural consumers. Our mission is to inspire and empower Canadian consumers to take a holistic approach to wellness.

As a certified B Corp, TallGrass continually meets rigorous standards of social and environmental performance, accountability, and transparency.

Marketing at TallGrass and Job Summary

We’re neither an agency nor a one-brand shop. Our 16-person marketing team shapes how Canadians discover, trust, and choose our brands—across independent retailers, national chains like Walmart and Loblaws, and a fast-growing direct-to-consumer business spanning Amazon and brand-specific Shopify sites. This is hands-on, high-impact work where creativity, data, and purpose meet.

Marketing sits at the centre of our growth and team members have the opportunity to:

  • Work across 13 diverse, natural brands
  • Build both retail and ecommerce expertise
  • See your work in the market—and in people’s lives
  • Be part of a company that measures success by impact, not just revenue
  • Have fun with a great group of people

Are you analytical, highly organised and interested in the ever-evolving world of ecommerce? TallGrass is looking for a motivated and personal growth-oriented Ecommerce Coordinator to help propel our online marketplaces (Amazon, Walmart) and DTC website channels. This role presents the opportunity to be the architect of the digital shelf for a portfolio of premium brands, blending curiosity with analytical rigor and technical execution to build scale. If you are keen on understanding the Amazon algorithm and passionate about learning what it takes to grow a DTC business, this could be a great opportunity for you.

This role is critical for connecting high-value channels for the business and will include technical and analytical aspects as well as creative problem-solving. Applicants should be comfortable learning and using various digital tools including Amazon Seller Central, Helium10, Shopify Plus, MS Excel, Google Analytics, SEMRush and more.

This hybrid role offers the flexibility of remote work and the benefits of in-person strategy sessions and mentorship.

Our Core Values

  • Celebrate – We work hard, play hard and laugh hard.
  • See the big picture – We see, understand and care about the whole process.
  • Build community – We nurture our relationships and ourselves.
  • Follow through – We honour the trust people place in us.
  • Show gratitude – We respect and appreciate everyone's contribution.
  • Do good – We care about the health of all people and our planet.

Critical Success Factors /Outcomes

  • Marketplace Acceleration – Dominating the digital shelf by optimizing content across Amazon, Walmart and owned Shopify websites. Product listings aren’t just accurate; they are fine-tuned for organic rank, conversion and brand integrity.
  • Search & Discovery - Conducting deep-dive research and competitor analysis using tools like Helium10 to ensure key products appear in the first page of search results.
  • Conversion Optimization: Partnering with other team members to build high-converting listing content, storefronts and product pages. You conduct regular A/B tests for continual gains.
  • High-Impact Promotions: Executing promotional programs on Amazon (Vine, Subscribe & Save, Lightning Deals and coupons) that complement our DTC activations. Collaborating with Sales and Brand teams on pricing strategies that maximize volume and margin. Ensuring that pricing strategies are implemented consistently across channels where appropriate.
  • Curate the Digital Window – Ensuring that our websites and storefronts represent our Brands powerfully and effectively. This role is the storefront architect across our owned channels, using seasonal themes and strategic merchandising to keep our ‘windows’ fresh and difficult to click away from.
  • Data-Driven Insights – With a focus on KPIs, leveraging analytics tools to translate data into actionable growth across the brand portfolio.
  • Revenue Growth – Ensuring we meet our annual growth targets on Amazon, Walmart and DTC websites.
  • Operational Excellence – Maintaining a Gold Standard Amazon account health rating of at least 200 on every brand, always focusing on Continuous Improvement opportunities and excellent consumer experience.

Core Competencies

  • Analytically-Minded – You are naturally curious about data and comfortable working with numbers to uncover patterns, trends, and root causes. You translate insights into practical hypotheses, test them through structured experiments, and use results to drive continuous improvement and better decision-making.
  • eCommerce Experience – While deep eCommerce experience is not required for this role, you will have some exposure to Seller Central and / or Shopify Plus. You understand the unique differences and opportunities in each ecosystem.
  • Collaborative Executor – You can work with a team to complete complicated projects and see the value in every task and how you fit into the bigger picture.
  • Detail-Oriented, Diligent, and Accountable – You are thorough and persistent in your work, with a strong commitment to getting the details right. You hold yourself to high standards of performance, take ownership of outcomes, and follow through until work is complete and accurate.
  • Clear, Effective, and Energizing Communicator – We place a high value on clear and timely communication. Whether sharing wins, flagging risks, or working through a stuck moment, you communicate with clarity, positive energy, and intent—helping align teams, build momentum, and move work forward.
  • Outcome-Driven and Adaptable – You stay focused on the intended result, not just the original plan. When circumstances change or obstacles arise (for example, a bestseller being suppressed), you respond with urgency, assess options, and adapt your approach to achieve the objective rather than rigidly executing pre-set activities.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with Helium10 and Google Analytics
  • Passion for natural health
  • Knowledge of French
