Job description: OVERVIEW

The Associate Project & Program Manager, Marketing Operations will work closely with the Director of Marketing Operations to support project management for all marketing campaign activities that funnel into the Central Marketing Organization at HLRP. In addition to ensuring that a consistent and best in class project management framework is adhered to, this role will serve as a key point of contact for both ingestion, tracking and execution of both campaign and single tactic ad hoc marketing work. Working with the Central and Product Marketing team, they will manage a body of work to ensure that the campaign tactics are executed within the guidelines of our SLA and follow best practices within the marketing channels.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Coordinate and manage execution of single tactic work (ad-hoc) within our B2C and B2B Businesses as assigned
  • Coordinate and manage execution of templatized campaigns (ex: Book Launch, Webinars)
  • Assist in facilitating marketing programs and activities in accordance with the mission and VSP priorities of the organization as directed.
  • Work closely and collaboratively with key stakeholders in Central and Product Marketing to ingest, execute on, and deliver upon marketing projects.
  • Work with internal and external resources throughout the campaign tactic execution lifecycle ensuring vendors/participants define/meet project requirements and deadlines.
  • Identify potential project risks (including needed resources) and escalate for remediation and reprioritization to Director as needed.
  • Manage changes and interventions to ensure project goals are achieved, analyzing potential risks and problem solving accordingly.
  • Produce accurate and timely reporting of program status throughout a projects’ life cycle.
  • Communicate status of projects, risks and opportunities to key stakeholders on a consistent basis.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education: Bachelor’s degree in business or related field or 2+ years of relevant experience

Minimum Experience

  • 1+ year of business experience demonstrating a broad background across marketing, operations and project/program management or other relevant experience.
  • Ability to communicate professionally with a diverse set of stakeholders.
  • Proven experience utilizing strong interpersonal skills to guide stakeholders through the decision- making process involved in moving a project forward successfully.
  • strong multi-tasking and prioritization skills
  • Experience with project management software (SmartSheet preferred)

Preferred Experience

  • Proven experience in program/project management principles and methodologies, preferred but not required.
  • Project Management training or certification preferred but not required
  • Knowledge of Marketing Automation, CRM Systems (Salesforce), Website Content Management Systems (such as AEM, Sitecore) and experience with data/data analytics preferred but not required.

Additional tools

  • Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Marketo or Hubspot or similar marketing automation tool.

  • Ability to effectively work as part of a team.
  • Ability to verbally relay concepts, goals, project plans to all parties involved in the execution of said plans.
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
  • Ability to manage projects of varying complexity.
  • Strong presentation and communication skills; including team building and support skills.
  • High level of initiative and strong problem-solving skills.
  • Detail oriented.

  • Flexible and responsive to change.

Travel requirements

Potential for 1-2 times per year for marketing team meetings
