Digital Marketing Assistant (AI & Content Focus)
TJ DigitalShare this job:
About TJ Digital TJ Digital is a fast-growing, transparent digital marketing agency. We launched in May 2025 and have already grown to a global team of 7. Our mission is unique: We help small and medium-sized businesses rank not just on Google, but inside Large Language Models (LLMs) like ChatGPT, Claude, and Google’s AI Overviews.
We are looking for a tech-savvy Digital Marketing Assistant who is fluent in AI, comfortable with WordPress, and ready to grow with us.
The Role This is not a traditional marketing role. You will be working directly with the founder, TJ Robertson (16 years of industry experience), to execute high-tech marketing strategies.
Most tasks are managed in Notion and come with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) involving video and written instructions. However, we need a thinker, not a robot. You will be expected to use LLMs to troubleshoot problems, generate creative solutions, and "figure it out" when an SOP doesn't exist.
What You Will Do
- AI Content Workflows: Use ChatGPT, Gemini, and Claude to generate, optimize, and repurpose content (text and images) based on specific prompts.
- Quality Control: Review AI outputs critically to fix hallucinations, improve tone, and ensure accuracy before publishing.
- WordPress Management: Handle basic updates, post blogs, edit pages, and update plugins (No coding/development skills required, just familiarity with the dashboard).
- Platform Updates: Update client details on social media channels and third-party directories.
- Client Communication: Communicate updates directly to clients within our task management system.
Who You Are
- Agency Experienced: You have worked in a digital agency environment before and understand the pace and expectations.
- AI Fluent: You don't just "use" ChatGPT; you understand prompting, context, and how to get the best output from LLMs for both text and images.
- WordPress Comfortable: You know your way around the WordPress dashboard. You can effectively upload blog posts, make simple page edits, and update plugins without needing to be a developer.
- Organized & Systematic: You have experience using task management software (e.g., Asana, Monday, Trello, or ClickUp). We use Notion to manage our work, so you must be comfortable working within a structured project management system.
- Basic SEO Knowledge: You understand the fundamentals of keywords, headers, and on-page optimization.
- A Troubleshooter: You are resourceful. If you hit a roadblock, your first instinct is to Google it or ask an AI for a solution.
Our Culture (Why You’ll Love Working Here)
- Mistakes are Encouraged: We believe if you aren't making mistakes, you aren't taking enough risks. You will never get in trouble for a mistake as long as you take ownership and learn from it.
- Total Transparency: Clients are invited into our internal systems. We hide nothing.
- Direct Mentorship: You will be a priority for the founder, receiving training and support to increase your value and skills.
- Voice Your Opinion: We want team members who push back on bad ideas and offer better solutions.
Logistics & Schedule
- Hours: Starts at 5–10 hours/week. If we are a good fit, this can quickly grow to full-time (though full-time is not required if you prefer part-time).
- Flexibility: The majority of your work can be done asynchronously on your own schedule.
- Time Zone Requirement: You must be available for at least 2-3 hours per day during US Pacific Time (Las Vegas time) for collaboration and communication.
- Hiring Process: We will assign paid test projects to shortlisted candidates to see how you work before making a final offer.
How to Apply: Please submit your resume and a brief cover letter explaining your experience with Large Language Models and WordPress.
