Job Profile Summary The Manager, RTR Transformation leads enterprise-wide initiatives to modernize financial systems and improve the people, processes, and controls supporting Record-to-Report (RTR). The role drives process improvement, governance, and tool deployment while tracking key metrics and assessing capability needs to ensure the RTR function and broader organization effectively support Sysco’s growth strategy. The Manager also supervises assigned staff, providing guidance to ensure high-quality execution of responsibilities.

The Manager, RTR Transformation leads enterprise-wide initiatives to modernize financial systems and improve the people, processes, and controls supporting Record-to-Report (RTR). The role drives process improvement, governance, and tool deployment while tracking key metrics and assessing capability needs to ensure the RTR function and broader organization effectively support Sysco’s growth strategy. The Manager also supervises assigned staff, providing guidance to ensure high-quality execution of responsibilities.
Duties and Responsibilities
Lead transformation initiatives to modernize RTR systems, processes, and controls
Conduct process discovery to assess current-state workflows, data baselines, and reporting requirements
Optimize and redesign core RTR processes and policies to drive efficiency, scalability, and standardization
Focus on RTR enablers to ensure intelligent, scalable systems and solutions align with Sysco’s overall strategy
Manage and lead implementation of the portfolio of change initiatives and continuous improvement across the RTR function
Design, develop, and implement new processes, governance models, tools, systems, and organizational structures across business units
Track and report key performance metrics to monitor transformation progress and outcomes Provide frequent, timely updates to SBS & business unit leadership on transformation activities and implementation status
Supervise and support assigned staff, providing guidance and ensuring work is completed effectively
Education Required
Bachelor's Degree
Education Preferred
Master’s Degree or further professional designation preferred.
Experience Required
Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience, with a proven track record of supporting senior executives and aligning technology, change management, workforce initiatives, and business strategies with organizational priorities. Strong business acumen, a solid understanding of the business and ERP landscape, and demonstrated supervisory or team leadership experience are essential
Experience Preferred
Proven ability to work with diverse stakeholders, manage competing priorities, and translate complex information across functions, supported by strong business and financial acumen and familiarity with enterprise systems, and demonstrated supervisory or team-lead experience.
Skills and Abilities
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, ERP systems (WD, CORA), and automation tools.
- Solid understanding of accounting processes, as well as SOX principles and related statutory and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with all organizational levels and stakeholders.
- Proven ability to drive continuous improvement initiatives across the organization.
