Job Summary: The Digital Catalog Specialist is responsible for vendor product file uploading and owning the accuracy, quality, and performance of all product content across reLink Medical’s digital selling channels, with a primary focus on reLink Online. This role ensures every product listing—titles, descriptions, specifications, images, pricing, and metadata—is loaded, complete, consistent, compliant, and commercially optimized.
This position plays a critical role in how buyers discover, understand, and purchase equipment from reLink. By delivering clean, high-quality catalog content at scale, the Digital Catalog Specialist directly influences conversion rates, revenue, SEO performance, brand credibility, and the speed at which inventory becomes sellable. The ideal candidate is highly organized, data-savvy, and passionate about driving operational excellence within a high-volume, fast-growth medical eCommerce environment.
Responsibilities: (Essential Duties and Responsibilities)
Product Content Ownership
- Create, manage, and optimize product content for reLink Online, including titles, bullet points, specifications, technical details, compatibility notes, and condition descriptions.
- Ensure every listing meets reLink’s accuracy standards, buyer experience expectations, and regulatory guidelines.
Data Integrity & Catalog Governance
- Audit and maintain data integrity across catalog systems, listing tools, and import/export sheets.
- Build and enforce catalog standards, naming conventions, and content taxonomies to ensure consistency across all modalities and manufacturers.
- Identify incomplete, inaccurate, or outdated listings and proactively correct or escalate.
Visual Content & Photography Workflow
- Oversee product photography and imaging standards, ensuring consistent style, quality, angle selection, and file naming protocols across all listings.
- Collaborate with the Partnership Development and external vendors to ensure timely delivery of product information, images, and documentation needed to properly list incoming inventory.
SEO, Search Performance & Conversion Optimization
- Optimize listings for SEO and marketplace visibility, including keyword strategy, metadata, structured data, alt text, and internal search relevance.
- Use analytics to monitor performance and identify opportunities to improve impressions, clicks, and conversions.
- Implement best practices for digital merchandising (cross-sells, related products, attribute tags, and filters).
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with Product Managers, eCommerce, Marketing, and Catalog Operations to accelerate listings for newly acquired inventory.
- Support Marketplace, Auction, and Buyer Engagement teams with content updates needed to close deals.
- Assist in developing scalable workflows and documentation to support catalog growth and operational efficiency.
Process Improvement & Automation
- Continuously refine catalog workflows to reduce manual errors, improve speed, and enhance content quality.
- Identify opportunities to standardize data templates, create reusable content blocks, or automate repetitive tasks.
Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required)
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (sorting, filtering, v-lookup, merge, pivoting, large dataset management).
- Extreme attention to detail with demonstrated success managing high-volume, detail-heavy data.
- Excellent written communication skills with the ability to translate technical details into clear, commercial language.
- Ability to organize and prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
Characteristics of the Position (Competencies, Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)
- Background in medical equipment, devices, parts, or accessories (strong advantage).
- Experience with eCommerce platforms such as Shopify, Matrixify, BigCommerce, or similar CMS tools.
- Understanding of SEO principles, digital merchandising best practices, and eCommerce taxonomy.
- Experience managing large datasets, digital catalogs, or structured product content libraries.
- Familiarity with product photography processes, standards, or workflows.

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, etc.
