This is a player/coach marketing position that will play one of the lead roles in driving both strategy and execution of planning, activation, and optimization of our clients’ digital marketing efforts. As a Digital Marketing Manager, you will bring extensive consulting, technical, functional, and product expertise for live entertainment clients. You will also serve as an integrator between business requirements and ad tech platforms, helping to create digital marketing solutions to meet clients’ growing needs. You will play a key role across multiple clients, driving client education, thought leadership, and campaign implementation. Your strengths in multiple digital marketing platforms including Meta, Google Ads, and DV360 will contribute to your success.
This position will work closely with other members of the digital media team, sales, and report to the Director of Marketing Services.
Duties
Team Management
- Develop and manage a team of digital specialists to perform at a high-level servicing clients
- Serve as an escalation point to handle specialists’ issues
- Train new specialists on advertising platforms and implementing best practices
Successful Digital Marketing Sales and Campaign Implementation
- Serve as one of the team development members who also acts as the strategic, tactical and technical digital marketing leads for multiple accounts with a focus on generating ticket sales for college athletics and live entertainment
- Drive strategy as well as set-up, manage, and optimize of paid media campaigns
- Build strategic recommendations – to elevate conversions and performance marketing goals
- Own executive client conversations during development, execution, and post-campaign stages
- In concert with other members of the programmatic team, take a “big picture” perspective and seek to maximize our total digital marketing return
Strategic Client Education and Consulting
- Educate clients on industry trends, best practices, campaign performance, new services and opportunities
- Unlock new strategic initiatives and testing with new products from Google and Facebook
- Create and present client educational case studies and successes
Thought Leadership
- Consult with and help drive new strategic objectives within the organization
- Serve as one of the team leads to achieve company goals and objectives
- Manage team duties and tasks, and coach others to execute alongside cross-functional team members
Required Qualifications
- 6+ years in a hands-on role with digital marketing/programmatic campaigns at an agency, marketer, or demand side platform.
- High attention to detail, top-notch analytical skills, and the ability to make data-driven decisions
- Experience launching and managing paid social (Meta, TikTok), search (Google Ads), and DV360 campaigns
- Strong grasp of the overall digital marketing ecosystem and the role that paid social and programmatic play within
- A passion for college athletics and the entertainment business and a strong understanding of live entertainment
- Outstanding communication, sales presentation and interpersonal skills (both written and oral)
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with or significant exposure to college athletics and live entertainment industry
- Experience building media plans and meeting campaign performance goals
- Experience with ROAS measurement and reporting
- Exposure to offline marketing channels & tactics
- Google Ads and Google Analytics experience and certification
The approximate national base pay range for this position is $85,000 to $105,000. Please note that this is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Individuals may also be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus and/or sales compensation based on individual and company performance. Placement on the range may vary based on factors including but not limited to job-related knowledge, skills, and experience, and geographic location. The pay rate will comply with all minimum federal, state, and local wage/salary requirements.
