About Us
GTMPR is a boutique marketing and PR firm established in 2005 by founder Denise Galvez Turros with offices in Little Havana. We work with private and non-profit clients in diverse industries all based in South Florida. Our team is small but incredibly dynamic so this is a great opportunity for anyone wanting to work with 20-year plus veterans of marketing and PR and maybe considering owning their own marketing business in the future. Must be willing to come to the office at least once a week!
Role Overview
We are seeking a creative, analytical, and highly organized Social Media Manager to oversee our social media strategy, elevate our client's brands, and increase audience engagement across multiple digital platforms. You will be responsible for planning, executing, and optimizing content that aligns with our client's marketing goals and connects with various communities.This opportunity is part-time but may transition into full-time based on performance and ability to take on more clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy across platforms (e.g., Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, X/Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube, Pinterest).
- Create engaging content including captions, graphics, short-form videos, and stories.
- Manage content calendars, schedule posts, and ensure consistent brand voice.
- Monitor trends, hashtags, and industry conversations to keep content relevant.
- Track performance metrics and prepare monthly analytics reports.
- Engage with followers, respond to comments/messages, and build an active online community.
- Collaborate with marketing, design, and PR teams for campaign alignment.
- Manage paid social campaigns (optional if applicable).
- Stay up-to-date with platform changes, tools, and best practices.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in social media management.
- Bi-lingual a plus (although we have Spanish Copywriter on staff for editing)
- Strong understanding of social platforms, analytics tools, and content trends.
- Excellent storytelling, and communication skills.
- Experience with Canva, and or Adobe Creative Suite, or other content creation tools is a plus.
- Video editing skills (e.g., Reels/TikTok) are also a plus.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Creative mindset a must
Preferred Skills (Optional)
- Experience with Sprout and AirTable
- Knowledge of content marketing trends & analytics.
- Experience managing influencer partnerships a major plus!
