About Barga

Barga is a fast-growing Canadian online auction company specializing in insurance salvage, sustainability, and value recovery. We work with insurers, contractors, and buyers across the country to bring high-quality salvage items to market while promoting cost savings and environmental responsibility. As we continue expanding, we are adding a dynamic Marketing & Social Media Coordinator to help elevate our brand and support growth initiatives.

Position Overview

We are looking for a creative, outgoing, and driven marketing professional with 1–2 years of experience who can manage social media, support branding, assist with digital advertising (including Google Ads), and represent Barga at trade shows and industry events.

This role combines digital marketing with in-person brand representation, making it perfect for someone who enjoys both content creation and face-to-face relationship building.

Key Responsibilities📱 Social Media & Content Creation

  • Plan, create, and schedule content across Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and TikTok
  • * Develop monthly content calendars aligned with auction cycles
  • * Create graphics, reels, videos, and stories using Canva (Adobe an asset)
  • * Grow online engagement and digital community presence
  • * Maintain Barga’s brand voice and messaging consistency
  • 🎨 Branding & Creative
  • Create marketing materials for auctions, events, and campaigns
  • * Assist with photography, videography, and content capture
  • * Maintain digital asset libraries
  • 📈 Lead Generation & Digital Marketing
  • Support campaigns designed to attract new bidders
  • * Assist with managing Google Ads, Meta Ads, and LinkedIn campaigns
  • * Conduct keyword research and help optimize paid ads
  • * Suggest improvements to landing pages and funnels
  • * Support email campaigns and audience segmentation
  • 📊 Analytics & Reporting
  • Track KPIs: impressions, engagement, CTR, conversions, bidder growth
  • * Conduct A/B testing on content and ads
  • * Prepare monthly marketing performance reports
  • * Provide recommendations backed by data
  • 🤝 Trade Shows, Events & Networking
  • Attend Barga trade shows, industry conferences, golf tournaments, and sponsored events across Canada
  • * Assist with booth setup, teardown, and event logistics
  • * Act as an on-site brand ambassador, confidently speaking about Barga, sustainability, salvage auctions, and value recovery
  • * Network with insurers, adjusters, contractors, and buyers
  • * Collect insights, questions, objections, and feedback from attendees
  • * Provide post-event summaries and recommendations to improve campaigns, messaging, and sales strategies
  • * Capture event content (photos, videos, interviews, testimonials) for social media and marketing use
  • This role requires someone who is comfortable talking to people, asking questions, gathering intel, and representing the company professionally.

  • QualificationsRequired
  • 1–2 years of marketing experience (internships included)
  • * Strong understanding of social media platforms
  • * Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • * Proficiency with Canva
  • * Basic knowledge of Google Ads and digital advertising principles
  • * Comfortable speaking with clients and representing Barga at events
  • * Ability to travel for trade shows and industry functions
  • * Class 5 Drivers License
  • * Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Nice to Have
  • Google Ads or Google Analytics certifications
  • * Salesforce familiarity
  • * Video editing experience (CapCut, Adobe Rush, etc.)
  • * Experience with event marketing or customer engagement
  • * Interest in environmental impact and sustainability (ESG)
  • * Knowledge in auctions and e-commerce

Salary Range

$48,000 – $55,000 annually (based on experience)
