Job Title: Marketing Analyst Assistant

Location: Remote, must be located in California

Duration: 3+ month contract- 40 hours/weekly

Pay Rate: $40.00-$45.00/hour

The team is responsible for executing and optimizing digital communications, measuring campaign activities, and generating insights that support year-over-year improvements in the efficiency of our marketing activities.

This person will be accountable for partnering with the other marketing team members to architect a data capture and measurement system, within an omni-channel environment that effectively deciphers, visualizes, and communicates actionable insights.

Responsibilities

Act as a strategic marketer who brings analytical leadership, challenges business goals, and guides agencies and teams in campaign strategy, analytics, and reporting
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and agencies to build a sustainable analytics and insights engine in a segmented, omni-channel environment
Align internal teams and external agencies to define business goals and set KPIs across the full consumer journey
Oversee campaign performance, including collecting and visualizing data, and advising partners on insights and optimizations
Use statistical techniques to analyze trends by channel, region, and segment; present actionable insights to senior leadership
Lead large, strategic projects involving cross-functional teams
Ensure analytics are consistently applied to optimize the consumer experience
Support program strategy through segmentation and positioning activities
Partner with leadership to track industry trends and assess market and competitor opportunities
May lead cross-functional teams and/or supervise other individual contributors

Qualifications

Requires 5 – 10 years of prior relevant experience
Ability to perform quantitative and qualitative market analyses to identify key market trends and interpret findings to create insights from that data
Expert in analyzing and interpreting marketing data to draw conclusions
Experience working within an omni-channel environment
Superb executive communication skills: written and verbal. Ability to adapt communication style to audience
Advanced knowledge of Adobe Consumer Journey Analytics a plus
Advanced knowledge in Tableau a plus
Advanced knowledge of visualizing data MS Excel and PowerPoint

Preferred Skills (nice to have)

1. Knowledge of Adobe Consumer Journey Analytics and Tableau

2. Understanding in full funnel measurement techniques from Brand down to performance marketing.

3. SQL / Python a nice to have
