POSITION OVERVIEW

National Pen Company is searching for a Paid Media Specialist to assist with the daily operations of our social media and display channels. As a Paid Media Specialist, you will be responsible for planning, implementing, and optimizing paid advertising campaigns across various social media platforms and display networks. Your main objective will be to drive targeted audience engagement, increase brand visibility, and maximize return on ad spend (ROAS) through effective social and display advertising strategies. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, manage budgets, create compelling ad creatives, and analyze campaign performance to ensure successful outcomes. WHAT YOU'LL DO * Campaign Strategy and Execution

  • Develop and execute social media and display ad strategies to achieve campaign goals and objectives.
  • Identify target audience segments, demographics, and interests to optimize campaign targeting.
  • Create, manage, and optimize campaigns across various social media platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn) and display networks.
  • Develop engaging ad creatives, including images, videos, and copy, to capture audience attention and drive conversions.
  • Conduct A/B testing and experimentation to improve campaign performance and optimize key metrics.
  • Stay updated with platform updates, algorithm changes, and advertising trends to leverage new features and opportunities.
  • Budget Management:
  • Manage advertising budgets effectively, ensuring proper allocation and maximum ROI.
  • Monitor daily ad spend, adjust bids, and optimize campaigns to meet budget goals.
  • Track and analyze campaign performance to identify opportunities for budget optimization and reallocation.
  • Provide regular budget updates and performance reports to stakeholders.
  • Performance Tracking and Reporting:
  • Implement tracking tools (e.g., Facebook Pixel, Google Analytics) to measure campaign performance accurately.
  • Generate regular reports on key performance indicators (KPIs), such as impressions, reach, engagement, click-through rates (CTR), conversions, and ROAS.
  • Analyze data and metrics to derive actionable insights and recommendations for campaign optimization.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, emerging platforms, and new advertising features, and provide recommendations for incorporating them into campaigns.
  • Collaboration and Communication:
  • Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., marketing, creative, content) to ensure alignment and effective execution of campaigns.
  • Work closely with digital marketing managers to understand campaign objectives and provide recommendations for achieving goals.
  • Communicate effectively with clients or stakeholders, providing campaign updates, performance insights, and recommendations.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

  • Bachelor's Degree; preferably in marketing, advertising, business, or a related field
  • Microsoft Office skills; particularly advanced knowledge of Excel
  • Proven experience in managing social media and display ad campaigns, preferably in an agency or digital marketing environment.
  • In-depth knowledge of social media advertising platforms (e.g., Facebook Ads Manager, Twitter Ads, LinkedIn Campaign Manager) and display ad networks (e.g., Google Display Network, Criteo Dynamic Remarketing).
  • Strong understanding of audience targeting, ad creative development, and campaign optimization techniques.
  • Proficiency in campaign tracking and analytics tools (e.g., Facebook Pixel, Google Analytics).
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, derive insights, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey ideas to stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple campaigns and priorities simultaneously.
  • Up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging advertising technologies.
