The Dufresne Group is currently seeking a **Digital Marketing Strategist** for our Dufresne Marketing Team within our **Home Office** located at **147 Commerce Drive** in **Winnipeg, MB**.**
As a Digital Marketing Strategist you will be responsible for the overall digital channel strategy for Dufresne Furniture & Appliances, while overseeing the execution process. You will be responsible for crafting strategies that drive store traffic, web traffic, and engagement, boost brand awareness, and deliver measurable results. This role requires a combination of creative thinking, analytical skills, and expertise in the latest digital marketing tools and platforms.

As the Digital Marketing Strategist you will
- Create comprehensive digital marketing strategies across channels, including social media, Google Search, Display, Local, Shopping, and YouTube, to support lifestyle, promotional, brand, and lead generation initiatives.
- Plan digital channel content in collaboration with the creative services team, ensuring campaigns align with trends, brand messaging, target audiences, and channel best practices.
- Be accountable for achieving channel KPIs and utilizing tools such as Power BI and Google Analytics to build reporting that analyzes data, creates insights and actionable recommendations.
- Collaborate with the organic social media team to ensure cohesive overall channel strategy, messaging and branding.
- Develop and execute annual channel testing plans to identify and scale successful strategies.
- Partner with external agencies to execute ad campaigns designed to drive omni-channel conversions.
- Build the yearly lifestyle content strategy, ensuring alignment with overall brand goals, industry and social media trends, and merchandising assortment.
- Collaborate with the Ecommerce team to ensure seamless user journey flow from campaigns to the on-site experience.
- Remain up-to-date and share out on new and emerging digital/ecommerce/retail marketing trends, tools and best practices.
- A degree in a related field (marketing, professional writing, creative communications, media production, etc.) or an equivalent combination of education and related experience.
- Work experience as a digital marketing specialist, strategist, manager or similar role.
- Solid understanding of digital marketing principles, web best practices and creative channel tactics.
- Experience in retail marketing is considered an asset.
- At least 3 years of experience executing campaigns within digital platforms (Pinterest, Facebook, etc.).
- Proven experience managing digital marketing budgets.
- Experience working in GA4.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills (both formal and informal) with strong attention to detail.
- Strong analytical skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
- Strong organizational, time management, and planning skills and the ability to work well within a team.
- Ability to lead by example through positive behaviour and strong problem-solving skills.
- *Other information**:
- Availability on evenings and weekends will sometimes be required for retail events.
- Some travel may be required, and own transportation is an asset.
- Driver’s License required.
