SRM Digital LLC is seeking a Support Technician to provide technical assistance and support to users. The role involves troubleshooting hardware and software issues, installing and configuring systems, and maintaining AV equipment in conference rooms.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical assistance to users experiencing hardware and software issues
  • Install, configure, and maintain desktop hardware, software, and peripheral devices
  • Diagnose and resolve technical problems related to desktop systems, applications, and network connectivity
  • Train users on new technologies and provide guidance on best practices
  • Maintain detailed records of technical issues and solutions, and update documentation as needed
  • Work closely with other IT teams to resolve complex issues
  • Set up and maintain audiovisual (AV) equipment in conference rooms. Ensure all equipment is functioning properly before meetings and provide on-the-spot technical support during meetings
  • Managing iOS devices, including familiarity with Mobile Device Management (MDM) solutions

Skills

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with users and team members
  • Familiarity with setting up and troubleshooting AV equipment and video conferencing tools like Microsoft Teams
  • Strong customer service orientation to provide a positive user experience
  • Ability to lift and move computer equipment and perform tasks that may require physical effort
  • Provide technical assistance to users experiencing hardware and software issues
  • Install, configure, and maintain desktop hardware, software, and peripheral devices
  • Diagnose and resolve technical problems related to desktop systems, applications, and network connectivity

  • Additional certifications such as ITIL, CompTIA Network+, can be beneficial
