E-commerce / Online Marketing Assistant

E-commerce / Online Marketing Assistant will be working with marketing and e-commerce teams on development, execution and maintenance of the Company’s e-commerce business and merchandising initiatives by updating the online catalogue, categories. This position handles all publishing associated with e-commerce product and merchandising of the product online. In addition to provide in-depth analysis along with marketing campaign planning, execution, and reporting.

CORE FUNCTIONS

• Ensure the accuracy of site content
• Perform day to day ecommerce operations such as website maintenance, managing & publishing products, inventory, collection
• Ensure all products are categorized appropriately online and verify each upload is successful
• Merchandise and sequence products to ensure categories are fresh and assortments are well represented
• Update banner images for homepage and category pages
• Provide insight for website improvements and manage the process to implement updates
• All other duties as assigned by management as required

QUALIFICATIONS

• Education or relevant experience in E-commerce or digital marketing.
• Knowledgeable about consumer preferences, particularly as these relate to e-commerce.
• Strong detail-oriented problem solver with positive approach to taking on challenges
• Experience with Shopify is an asset
• Experience with Mailchimp is an asset
• Experience with Mirakl is an asset
• Consistently exhibits and taking pride in being innovative, respectful, passionate, accountable, and entrepreneurial while exhibiting personal commitment
• Basic knowledge of Adobe Creative Suites
• Proficiency using Excel
• Good understanding of database
• Must have ability to function effectively in a results oriented, fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• *Job Type**: Fixed term contract

Contract length: 3 months

• *Salary**: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
