Join an industry-leading utility construction firm providing critical infrastructure services across North America. We are seeking highly experienced and safety-focused Aerial Linemen for immediate opportunities in Dallas, Wysox, and York, Pennsylvania!
If you have 2+ years of experience and are ready for challenging, 100% aerial work, we want you on our team.
🔑 Key Requirements & Qualifications
We are looking for proven professionals ready for hands-on, physically demanding work.
Experience & Skills
- 3–5 years as an Aerial Lineman (preferred).
- 2+ years of experience as a lineman with the knowledge to detect power space violations and safety issues.
- Prior experience with Bucket Truck, Ladder, and Digger Derrick (preferred).
- Ability to climb poles to cable height using pole climber gaffs.
- Must own side tools and belt, including gaffs.
Certifications & Licensing
- A current valid driver's license (preferably a CDL A) with a clean driving record is required. A CDL is mandatory.
- Knowledge of NESC and OSHA standards.
- Physical & Safety Requirements:
- Must be able to perform heavy physical work.
- Must be able to lift, reach, dig and carry heavy objects , with frequent lifting up to 50 pounds and infrequent lifting of up to 100 pounds.
- Must perform all duties according to prescribed safety procedures and use appropriate safety equipment.
🔨 Core Responsibilities
You will work in a 4-man crew (Foreman, Lineman, 2 Laborers) to maintain and build critical infrastructure.
- Performs all duties according to prescribed safety procedures and uses appropriate safety equipment.
- Installs and/or relocates aerial and underground cable, including fiber optic, transportation, distribution, and drop cable.
- Ensures that cable installation meets industry standards, is technically reliable, and is performed in a timely and cost-efficient manner.
- Provides support for line crews during all phases of construction activity.
💼 Work Environment, Benefits, & Hiring Process
- Locations: Opportunities available in Dallas, Wysox, and York, PA.
- Work Schedule: Work up to 6 days per week in an all-weather environment and be willing to travel as required.
- Travel & Lodging: Travel is required and paid by the company (up to 2 hours away). Hotel paid by PM, double bunk (2 per room). Meals are not provided.
- Union: All new hires must join the union.
- Financial Security: 401(k) provided by both the Union and the company.
- Time Off: PTO paid by the Union, disbursed twice a year (June & December), with no carryover.
