Orca Spirit is looking to hire a Social Media and Design Coordinator who will contribute to the execution of marketing campaigns and social media profiles across all branches of the organization, while assisting with the development of new projects and initiatives aligned with our organization’s goals and social mission.

This position is primarily working remotely, but may require you to work in the office/on boats if projects or duties require.

This position will be a part-time remote position requiring 10-12 hours of work per week.

  • Job Requirements/Qualifications:

1. Marketing related degree/diploma

2. A wide range of marketing functions including communications, advertising, branding.

3. Social media content creation, scheduling and posting

4. Solid written and communication skills

5. Experience with Hootsuite and Mailchimp

6. Dynamic and creative thinker

7. Best practices and knowledge of trends

8. Online presence for comment response

9. Digital media

Responsibilities will include

1. Scheduling and posting to all social media platforms

2. Creating digital ads as required

3. Maintaining social media calendar and updating as needed

4. Bi-weekly newsletters

5. Ensuring a high level of engagement and quick response times
