**ONE KIDS PLACE - Children’s Treatment Centre** provides rehabilitation and related support services for children and youth (up to the age of 19) and their families living in the Districts of Muskoka, Nipissing and Parry Sound. All staff will provide service within an interdisciplinary team environment committed to family-centered practice.

  • *POSITION**:1.0 FTE Marketing Specialist/Event Support (Full-Time Contract - 10 months with the possibility of extension or permanent hire)
  • *LOCATION**:Nipissing
  • *EFFECTIVE**:ASAP
  • **:Reporting to the Development Officer, the Marketing Specialist will lead the planning, development, and execution of One Kids Place marketing activities. The Marketing Specialist will provide both experiential and digital marketing strategies that align with the objectives of One Kids Place Children’s Treatment Centre (OKP) in all of our service areas. This role is responsible for leading social media, website optimization, digital advertising, community campaigns and events, and other marketing activities.
  • *QUALIFICATIONS**:
  • Post-secondary education in a relevant field such as Marketing, Communications, Business Administration and/or similar program
  • Extensive knowledge and proficiencies in digital marketing practices (social media, online advertising, content marketing, website optimization, etc.). _Knowledge of WordPress is considered an asset_
  • Possess relevant volunteer experience, and an understanding of non-for-profit volunteer processes and expectations
  • Be able to work effectively across the organization with staff, volunteers, community partners, service clubs, donors, and the local business communities
  • Excellent communication (oral and written including public speaking) and interpersonal skills. _Bilingual (oral and written - French/English) is considered in asset_
  • Excellent attention to detail in regards to writing, proof reading, and editing
  • Knowledge and respect of cultural diversity
  • Knowledge of and adherence to privacy protocols including PHIPPA legislation
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills, and flexibility to prioritize based on deadlines
  • Demonstrated event planning experience and ability to work within a team to execute events successfully
  • Strong knowledge and proficiency of social media (Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, etc.) platforms and excellent computer literacy
  • Valid driver’s license and proof of insurance required
  • Applicants must have access to a vehicle to attend other work sites and to attend network related activities across the districts
  • This position will require some evening and weekend work
  • Proof of COVID Vaccinations as required by the sector
  • *COMPENSATION**:$22.98 - $28.30 hourly (depending on prior experience as per our Collective Agreement).
