**Job Summary**

  • *JT's Outdoor Fabrics** is growing again and looking for a motivated **E-commerce Growth and Digital Marketing Specialist**to lead the migration of our website to Shopify, optimize our online presence, and drive digital marketing initiatives. This individual will play a key role in executing digital marketing campaigns, improving website performance, and analyzing metrics to enhance conversion rates and sales, with a focus on both **Shopify** and **Amazon**. They will also be accountable for regular reporting on campaign performance and digital engagement.
  • *Responsibilities**
  • *Website Migration and Optimization**:
  • Lead and manage the migration process from Shift4 to **Shopify**.
  • Customize Shopify themes to match our branding, ensuring an optimal user experience across devices.
  • Ensure the transition is smooth, with no loss of functionality or data.
  • Ensure ongoing website optimization for conversion rate improvement, including optimizing product pages, checkout flow, and site speed.
  • *Digital Marketing Strategy & Campaign Execution**:
  • Create and manage compelling **content** (text, graphics, and videos) for various digital platforms to promote our product offerings and drive engagement.
  • Work with internal team to design promotional strategies that align with the company’s goals.
  • Stay up to date on industry trends, digital marketing tools, and e-commerce best practices, continuously bringing new ideas to the table.
  • *SEO & Analytics**:
  • Develop and implement SEO strategies to ensure that the website ranks well for targeted keywords.
  • **Analyze digital marketing metrics**, including engagement, reach, conversion, and ROI, and optimize campaigns for continuous improvement.
  • Use **Google Analytics**, **Shopify Analytics**, and other reporting tools to track the performance of campaigns and suggest strategies for enhancement.
  • *Amazon Sales & Marketplace & DIY Platforms Optimization**:
  • Manage product listings and promotional campaigns on **Amazon**, optimizing product descriptions, pricing, and keywords to increase visibility and sales.
  • Track Amazon performance metrics, such as product rankings and conversion rates, and make data-driven adjustments to improve results.
  • **Familiarity with Etsy** and similar platforms (such as eBay, or other niche marketplaces for DIY products) to optimize listings, manage campaigns, and grow sales.
  • Understand the unique needs of DIY customers on these platforms and tailor content, listings, and promotional strategies accordingly.
  • *Reporting & Accountability**:
  • Prepare and present **regular reports** on digital marketing campaigns, SEO performance, website metrics, and sales data.
  • Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to determine the success of campaigns and provide actionable insights for improvement.
  • *Skills & Qualifications:Technical Skills**:
  • **Proficiency in website management** tools (e.g., **Shopify**, **WordPress**, or similar platforms).
  • **Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS** or a willingness to learn and make minor website edits.
  • **SEO expertise**, including keyword research, on-page optimization, and link building strategies.
  • Strong experience with **Google Analytics** for tracking website performance and campaign results.
  • Familiarity with **digital marketing tools** (e.g., Google Ads, Facebook Ads, Hootsuite, Mailchimp, etc.).
  • Proficient in **Microsoft Office** Excel and **Google Suite** (Docs, Sheets).
  • *Digital Marketing Skills**:
  • Experience executing and optimizing **digital marketing campaigns** (social media, paid ads, content marketing, etc.).
  • Proficiency in **social media management** and paid advertising across platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Google Ads, LinkedIn, etc.).
  • Ability to **create engaging content** (text, graphics, and videos) tailored for different digital platforms.
  • Strong understanding of **conversion rate optimization** (CRO) tactics to improve engagement, reach, and sales.
  • *Analytical & Reporting Skills**:
  • Experience analyzing digital marketing data to optimize campaigns and improve **engagement**, **reach**, and **conversion**.
  • Ability to **create reports** that showcase campaign performance and insights based on data from analytics tools.
  • Strong knowledge of **A/B testing** and other optimization techniques to improve website performance.
  • Experience working with **KPIs** and **metrics** such as click-through rates, conversion rates, ROI, and other relevant measures.
  • *Communication Skills**:
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and persuasively across various teams.
  • Ability to **adapt to new digital tools and platforms** quickly and efficiently, keeping up with digital marketing trends and technologies.
