Ironmark is seeking a strategic, collaborative Director, B2B Marketing to help drive our next stage of growth across new verticals and product lines. This role is ideal for a seasoned B2B marketer who excels at building smart strategies, leading cross-functional teams, and is ready for the next big step in their career.
The Director, B2B Marketing is where great ideas meet seamless execution. Partnering closely with our CMO, this leader helps shape the marketing vision, build brand awareness, spark demand, and deepen client engagement. They bring strategy to life by guiding a growing team and rolling up their sleeves to drive measurable growth.
This role co-owns Ironmark’s B2B revenue engine with the CMO, architecting and optimizing the full-funnel ecosystem — from ICP and ABM strategy to CAC:LTV modeling, lifecycle acceleration, attribution clarity, and GTM alignment with sales and product. The Director, B2B Marketing will be at the helm of scaling a high-performing team, strengthening marketing operations, and delivering measurable revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive high-impact marketing strategies that fuel revenue growth and strengthen engagements with existing clients.
- Partner with the CMO to build marketing strategy and convert organizational priorities into actionable plans, roadmaps, and campaigns.
- Lead the execution of integrated marketing initiatives supporting brand awareness, demand generation, and expansion within current accounts.
- Own full-funnel performance across awareness, demand creation, demand capture, and lifecycle — continuously improving conversion rates at every stage.
- Partner with performance marketing to optimize CAC efficiency, LTV growth, channel contribution, and attribution accuracy.
- Build and maintain dashboards for marketing-sourced and marketing-influenced revenue, pipeline velocity, and channel ROI.
- Collaborate closely with sales, strategic account management, digital marketing, product owners, department managers, and subject matter experts to ensure alignment and momentum.
- Champion consistent, compelling messaging and brand storytelling across every channel and touchpoint, including oversight of standout marketing materials — from digital assets to print.
- Steward the marketing budget to maximize impact and ROI through thoughtful resource allocation.
- Establish consistent operating rhythms: weekly KPI reviews, funnel diagnostics, quarterly planning, and post-mortems.
- Lead and coach a growing team across performance, content, product marketing, and creative contributors.
- Set clear KPIs, and expectations for each function and hold the team accountable to data-driven performance.
- Leverage AI in processes that reduce rework, shorten cycle time, and create predictable, scalable execution.

Qualifications
- 12+ years of marketing experience, including 5+ years leading and developing teams.
- Proven experience in: B2B marketing, Account Based Marketing, sales enablement, LinkedIn marketing, integrated marketing campaign management, and CRM (preferrably HubSpot).
- Demonstrated experience owning pipeline targets, optimizing CAC:LTV, and managing a metrics-driven marketing function.
- Strong creative sensibility; Shape compelling concepts, messaging, and storytelling.
- Solid analytical skills; Skilled at using data, dashboards, and research to optimize performance and show ROI.
- Exceptional communication and project management skills with the ability to simplify complexity and rally colleagues from executives to subject matter experts and beyond.
- Experience managing a multi-specialty team (performance, product marketing, content, creative) toward shared KPIs.
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing or a related field.
What Sets You Apart
- Experience using AI tools to scale marketing efforts and create efficiencies.
- Based in the DMV area; This is a hybrid role based in Annapolis Junction, MD (remote candidates may be considered).
- Experience in one or more of these industries: healthcare, manufacturing, finance, and/or multi-location/franchise models.
- Experience growing and scaling a marketing team.
- Fluency in HubSpot (or similar CRM/automation tools), attribution frameworks, funnel analysis, lead scoring, reporting, and lifecycle strategy.
- Strong ABM and ICP development experience; can operationalize ABM across marketing, sales, and product.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional GTM initiatives and unify marketing, sales, and product around shared outcomes.
- Experience managing performance marketers and/or agencies — with comfort reviewing budgets, pacing, forecasting, and ROI.
