Magic Chest is a fast-growing and innovative e-commerce business specializing in licensed Toys. We are looking for a highly organized, motivated, and adaptable E-Commerce Operations Assistant to support our daily operations. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys problem-solving, and is eager to contribute to a dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities

Inventory Management

  • Oversee daily inventory levels and ensure stock accuracy.
  • Organize and update inventory records within our system.
  • Generate reports on stock status and discrepancies.

Inventory Ordering

  • Track stock levels and determine reorder points.
  • Place orders with suppliers and ensure timely deliveries.
  • Work closely with the purchasing team to prevent stockouts and overstock situations.

E-Commerce Platform Management

  • Manage and update product on Shopify.
  • Ensure accurate product descriptions, pricing, and images.
  • Monitor orders, process returns/exchanges, and troubleshoot platform issues.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to optimize product listings and promotions.

Office & Administrative Support

  • Maintain organized files and office supplies.
  • Assist with shipping and receiving logistics.
  • Support general office operations as needed.

Social Media Assistance

  • Assist with scheduling and posting content across platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook).
  • Monitor DMs, comments, and mentions — and escalate to the appropriate team when needed.
  • Help capture behind-the-scenes content and ideas from product arrivals, events, and retail updates.
  • Collaborate with our marketing team to brainstorm engaging post ideas and trends.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Previous experience in e-commerce or retail operations (preferred but not required).
  • Proficiency in office software (Excel Sheet, Microsoft Office, Google Workspace).
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and problem-solve effectively.
  • Customer-oriented mindset with strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Basic knowledge of POS software (a plus).
