Position Overview
The Head of Digital will guide the overarching digital vision for HYBE America, leading high-impact digital strategy, content, innovation, and fan engagement initiatives across all HYBE America business units and affiliated labels. The ideal candidate is a senior leader with a deep and diverse music industry background, an expert understanding of digital trends (with a strong focus on K-Pop and Pop), and a proven ability to operate at both visionary and operational levels.
This role will lead, guide, and mentor the Digital team responsible for day-to-day execution, while setting long-term strategic direction across content, social, paid media, CRM, and platform partnerships. The Head of Digital will also serve as a key liaison across multiple HYBE-owned labels in both the U.S. and Korea, ensuring alignment on campaign strategy, communication workflows, and best-in-class digital execution.
This position requires a strategic, forward-thinking leader who thrives in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment and can effectively influence stakeholders across global teams. This is a full-time, hybrid role based in our Santa Monica office, with in-person collaboration 3-4 days per week..
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Cross-Label Strategy
- Lead, manage, and mentor HYBE America’s Digital team, ensuring high performance, clear communication, and consistent execution across all clients and campaigns.
- Define digital strategic priorities for HYBE America and ensure seamless alignment across internal teams, artist management, and HYBE-owned labels globally.
- Serve as the primary cross-functional liaison between HYBE America, HYBE HQ Labels, and other HYBE-owned label entities to coordinate campaign strategies, timelines, approvals, and digital goals.
- Oversee department resourcing, workflows, and process optimization to support scale and operational excellence.
Content & Digital Strategy
- Develop and oversee the execution of content calendars across clients at a macro level, ensuring clear cross-team communication and troubleshooting escalations as needed.
- Guide implementation of digital plans and strategies in collaboration with internal teams, artists, agents, brands, and other departments.
- Oversee label partner and third-party digital agency relationships to shape and execute artist digital strategies, intervening at the leadership level when needed.
- Advise brand partners and talent agencies on posting commitments for brand deals and partnerships, ensuring deliverables are aligned, coordinated, and approved across stakeholders.
CRM & Fan Engagement
- Oversee the strategic approach to CRM, including management of artist email lists and execution of email marketing campaigns (newsletters, announcements, fan initiatives).
- Provide leadership on artist website content strategy, ensuring timely updates and a cohesive fan experience.
Digital Activations & Mini-sites
- Lead vision and oversight for the creation and maintenance of artist mini-sites or landing pages for major campaigns.
- Guide development of interactive digital activations that deepen fan engagement and drive campaign momentum.
Partner Management
- Build and maintain senior-level relationships with key partners such as TikTok, Meta, Vevo, YouTube, and Twitch.
- Oversee pitching strategy for new releases and catalog activity to secure placements, marketing support, and platform visibility.
- Provide leadership oversight for Vevo Live Performances from pitch through production and delivery.
Operations
- Oversee campaign budgets, ensuring strategic allocation of resources and efficient tracking of expenses across releases.
- Approve vendor invoices and reconcile project finances with HYBE America Finance and HYBE HQ Labels.
- Manage financial workflows including billbacks, agreements, and vendor partnerships at a senior level.
Social Media Marketing
- Lead overall social media strategy across platforms including TikTok, Meta (Facebook & Instagram), Vevo, YouTube, and emerging channels.
- Provide oversight on all aspects of artist social media accounts, including community strategy and engagement frameworks.
- Guide use of social listening and sentiment reporting to monitor conversations and inform strategic adjustments.
- Stay current with platform trends and updates, sharing thought leadership with internal teams and label partners.
Paid Media
- Oversee paid media strategy across all clients, managing relationships with external agencies and establishing deal structures.
- Lead planning and execution of paid media campaigns across search, display, social, and video channels.
- Guide budget management, optimization strategies, and audience growth across releases and campaigns.
- Oversee testing frameworks, including A/B testing for creatives and targeting approaches.
- Collaborate with label teams to align paid media strategy with broader marketing goals.
Creator Campaigns & Social Seeding
- Lead influencer and creator strategy to promote music and engage fans.
- Maintain senior-level relationships with in-market creators and partners to support priority releases.
- Oversee influencer marketing campaigns, from briefing to performance analysis.
- Guide social seeding efforts to amplify content and strengthen organic reach within fandoms.
Data Analysis & Reporting
- Oversee tracking and analysis of KPIs across platforms and campaigns.
- Guide creation of regular reports to communicate campaign performance and insights to internal teams and labels.
- Use data to inform strategic decisions and optimize future campaigns at a department and label level.
Sentiment Reporting
- Lead sentiment reporting processes for K-Pop releases to help inform campaign strategy and measure fan response across global markets.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in digital marketing within the music, media, or entertainment industry, including significant leadership experience managing teams and complex, multi-artist campaigns, with a deep passion for K-Pop, pop, and online fandom culture.
- A strategic, innovative, and results-driven leader with a proven track record of driving digital marketing, content strategy, and fan engagement at scale.
- A collaborative and influential leader with exceptional communication, team management, and project oversight skills.

Salary Range
The salary range for this job is $175,000 to $225,000. This is a good faith effort at the time of posting. This range is base salary only and does not include benefits and any other compensatory components of the role.
