The Marketing Strategist works in an integrated way to support brand and enrolment marketing needs across the company. This role develops and coordinates key brand marketing initiatives that primarily drive awareness about **guard.me** and our value proposition, and support prospect generation, driving engagement for existing clients and insureds, as well as increasing our profile. You will work with internal stakeholders to develop, create, and ensure consistent strategy, messaging, and brand standards across campaigns.

The Marketing Strategist will also work collaboratively with the team to strategize, plan, coordinate, execute and analyze campaigns across multiple platforms. You will enhance marketing campaigns and compile and utilize analytics to support brand optimization. You will work closely with internal stakeholders, and collaborate with team members to develop, design and implement brand marketing strategies at guard.me.

  • *Responsibilities**:
  • Take the lead and ownership to design, plan, deliver and execute on various meetings and events, such Responsible for developing marketing plans which include strategy, tactics, competitive research, target audience profiles and enrolment target data.
  • Develop and execute brand and marketing campaigns that support business priorities.
  • Identify short-term and long-term marketing schedule, budget, and resource needs, including the management of an annual marketing budget and expenditure spending.
  • Understand key marketing performance metrics and tracking tools to provide market research, forecasts, competitive analyses, campaign results, and market trends in order to translate results into actionable programs and insights for the organization.
  • Liaise with team members to communicate priorities, strategy, deliverables and deadlines.
  • Supporting the team in developing the marketing brief, including compiling consumer/business insights and pulling in relevant past campaign data to inform best practices.
  • Generating reports both on scheduled and ad-hoc basis to ensure strategic plans are on track to meet business objectives.
  • Providing meaningful insights and action plans to refine strategies, improve performance and advance further growth based on regularly monitoring campaign data and evaluating and tracking, KPIs.
  • Compiling and reviewing marketing analytics to gain an understanding of marketing impact.
  • Stay up-to-date with relevant best practices, maintain a strong understanding of marketing principles, practices and standards, with experience in integrating online and offline initiatives.
  • Performing other related duties as assigned.
  • *Qualifications**:
  • 4-year degree in business, marketing or related field of study.
  • At least 5 years of recent related experience in brand marketing and strategy with a focus on digital media. Knowledge base within the specialized field of marketing pertaining to best practices, strategy, campaign optimization and analytics (equivalency to be considered).
  • Professional use of social media platforms including but not limited to Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, LinkedIn, Snapchat and Instagram, TikTok.
  • Intermediate to advanced skill working with MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint and Adobe Creative Suite (including Photoshop, Acrobat).
  • Understanding and experience with AODA (Accommodation for Ontarians with Disabilities Act) and accessibility best practices.
